I bought these in an attempt to find a more affordable alternative to Prana's Zion pants. In that regard, these are just okay.First, the sizing isn't great if you're at all between the typical alternatives. I'm 5'11" and 175 lbs, and an athletic build. I buy 31-inch waists whenever I can, but that's not very often and I usually have to make due to 30-inch waists. In the case of these Wranglers, the 30-in option was just too tight around the seat and thighs, so I sized up to the 32-in which give me more comfortable room, but are a bit too loose around the waist itself. The 32s are the better compromise, but still a downgrade to my favorite pants.Second, the material is very loud. These sound like snow pants when I walk around. I'm hoping the sound will dissipate as I wash them more, but no luck so far after a couple months.Finally, the pockets are hit and miss. The small zippered pocket near the right knee is useless. Other than stashing an energy bar on a hike or car keys, I can't think of a purpose for this. And even if you used it for those purposes, whatever is in the pocket banks or rubs uncomfortably against your knee. The larger pocket on the right hip, however, is quite useful and a decent addition.

After just one washing, there were already loose threads hanging out outside and inside. As one purchaser noted, loose threads, especially where none were seen previously is not a good sign. At the price paid for these trousers, one expects greater quality and durability, and so far it's not looking good. The loose threads pixs are just from the trousers I am wearing right now. One thing I have noticed constantly: the flap covering the zipper front pulls to the left (while wearing the trousers and looking down at the zipper). I'll pull it so that it is flat, and within seconds it's already dragged itself to the left. Has anyone else experienced this? Annoying.

I rarely write reviews but i decided to start writing more. The pants are true to size, i am 5'11 167lbs. I ordered 32 X34 and it fits great. I wear 32 to 33 in the waist and these fit perfect. The pants move with you, they are light weight and very comfortable and they look and feel great. I have bought 6 pairs of these in 4 different colors and use these as my work pants.

Comfortable, lightweight, look good. Dries fast if you get wet outside. Bit pricey at $50 a pop but I guess that's in line with most jeans nowadays. No idea on durability yet, still relatively new. Look stitched well so they should hold up, depending on what you're doing with them. Be advised they are NOT wrinkle proof, so remove promptly from the dryer and hang or fold - otherwise, you'll look like the guy from the Downy commercials! I got 5 pair (4 additional after I tried the 1st pair) and have been wearing exclusively lately. I like these, great summer pant. Doubt they'll be very comfortable this winter, awful thin for that.
