Tastes like sugar
I was a regular buyer and then the product was unavailable for a while, so I changed product. Which I have no complaints about. This does taste like sugar.

Great in cakes
I use this sugar replacement to make lower calorie cakes mainly. It’s really quite expensive, especially compared to conventional sugar but good if you’re calorie counting. Tastes great, the only negative is the price!

Use Bonraw caster sugar gram for gram as with normal caster sugar.
Use the same or a little less to make lovely cakes. I am diabetic and I still love sugary deserts and this is ideal for type 2 to hold sugar levels at normal.

Sugar free caster sugar replacement🥄
This works well as a direct one for one, caster sugar replacement. I've used it in cheesecake and soda bread. It doesn't brown like actual sugar so baking will come out paler. The packet gave the impression that it was less than half-full.It has a much lower glycaemic index than caster sugar so it is a good option if you are diabetic or have other reasons for reducing sugar in your diet. There are warnings that you need to introduce Xylitol into your diet gradually or there may be a laxative effect. For the same reason, you need to limit the amount you consume per day.

It Came Half Full
If you’re going to deliver a product that is half full, then please reduce the packaging to fit the amount you’re selling! The taste is fine. It’s clearly a more finely grounded version of the regular Bonraw xylitol. It weighs about the same amount as is advertised. It’s more expensive than the regular Bonraw xylitol.

The best tasting sugar substitute there is out there
We follow a low carb/keto lifestyle and I can tell you, being a bit of a kitchen "scientist", I have tried every single sweetener out there, including very expensive ones from America, at great cost! Xylitol is the ONLY sweetener that tastes of nothing but sugar, no aftertaste, no cooling or burning sensation, nothing but pure sweetness (in my opinion, but I'm not easy to please!). For me this is a lifeline, for sweetening in drinks, but mainly for baking, particularly as Aspartame is so bad for you and now Erythritol has clinically been proven to be harmful to health (raises blood pressure, significantly increases risk of blood clots and therefore stroke and heart attack), so I've thrown away every sweetener with Erythritol in it. Only 4 stars because of the price, but there are many more on Amazon that are much, much cheaper than Bonraw, so look at all - they are all the same product. I've made biscuits, brownies, chewy crispy cookies, cakes, pastry everything with this, all perfect and no aftertase. It doesn't brown as well and you may need to drop oven temps a bit, but if you do your research before baking, you'll be fine - there is literally masses of info out there for baking with it. However, beware, it is extremely harmful to animals, particularly naughty puppies who like to steal 1/2 an orange cake I made! It will cause massive kidney and liver damage, so keep it away from animals and make sure they can't steal any food with it in it. I know to my cost as 3 nights in the Royal Vet College, stomach pumping and a £3000 bill, but they saved his life. Just beware, s'all I'm sayin', otherwise absolutely brilliant
