Carrying Case for The Music Maker

I ordered two of these cases for my Music Maker harps. They arrived separately - one was perfect and exactly what I was expecting - a padded case with cute birds embroidered on it that fit the harp perfectly.The second seemed unfinished - it was sturdy and fit the harp but was not padded and lacked the embroidered birds. The padding is really important to protect the harp. I reached out to the seller and they were very responsive but wanted personal information (shipping address etc.) to replace the product direct from the manufacturer. Amazon recommends not to give this to sellers for security reasons. The seller can't guarantee which product is being stocked by my local warehouse and neither can Amazon so a repeat order from Amazon may just send me another unfinished case. Amazon has refunded the purchase price for the case that is not padded and seems unfinished. So both seller and Amazon have been very responsive but neither seems to be able to give me what I really want which is another padded case for my harp!

This is sturdier than I expected. It's a canvas type fabric, not thick, not padded. However, I found that I can put some music in the pocket and place the harp so the strings are against the pocket. That seems to cushion them to my satisfaction. Note that the description indicates you cannot choose red or black; the shipper chooses for you. I received red (yay!), and it fits my Music Maker lap harp nicely. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the zipper seams are a bit bulky and sometimes interfere with zipping the case. They tend to roll outward and block the zipper. I can live with that. On the plus side, the zipper seams are finished off so there is no fraying. The handle is easy to grab, and overall I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

It is pretty much what the picture shows. I thought it had a pocket on the inside but it didn’t. There is no padding so I intend to add some craft foam for padding & a bit more protection. Also the handle is shorter than it looks.

This is a soft sided case that works perfectly for a TK O’Brien lap harp.

I’m very happy with this case. There were several reviews going back years that reported issues fitting a Music Maker brand harp, which is what I have. However, I have no problem getting my Music Maker (14.5” long at base) in this case; it looks like it was designed for this specific instrument.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this case, both the front and back are padded and the exterior is a fairly rugged canvas.I had considered making my own case but I’m so glad I tried this version first, I’m very happy with it and the price was right.

The product came so quickly and it fit my instrument so great. Light and easy to cerry

This case fit the lap harp very well. The inside pocket is handy for music, tuning tool, extra string, and picks. Well made and sturdy.
