best tasting yerba mate
Out of all other brands I have tried this one tastes the best. It ia pricier than the others but the quality makes up for it. I had a hard timw drinking the other bitter tasting yerba mate. This one is satisfying and gives you that punch of caffeine needed to get your day going.

High Quality Yerba Mate at a great price
I've been drinking Yerba Mate for many years and have tried a number of different brands and types over the years. I used to buy from another company because they offered 5lb bags, but now they do not offer it in bulk so I decided to look around the internet and ended up coming across this brand. For anyone not used to drinking Yerba Mate tea it might seem weird to open up a bag of tea and seeing all sorts of different tea leaves and pieces including stems, but they are all essential for creating a nice smooth and deep flavorful brew. I could tell by the vibrant color of these leaves that the quality was real good. I brew my tea in a french press as opposed to a gourd because it simply isn't practical and I live in the 21st century. Walking around carrying an iPhone and a gourd while sipping tea through a bombilla seems a bit pretentious, but I digress.I tend to brew my tea quite strong to get the maximum flavor and health benefits of the tea and I was quite surprised as to how smooth and flavorful this tea was. Just a quick tip, whether you brew this tea in a press, gourd, cup, old shoe...make sure to let the tea soak in a little bit of cold water to let the tea leaves re-hydrate and "wake up" the flavor before pouring in the hot water. It makes a big difference and helps avoid that burnt flavor that can occur when you shock the tea leaves with boiling hot water. Also, DON'T use boiling hot water. Let the water sit for a little while and cool just a tad before pouring to help avoid that burnt flavor I just talked about...unless of course you like burnt flavor in which case do what you want. I would highly recommend this brand and probably will be ordering from them again in the future. Hope this review helps!

good value, good quality tea
We drink a lot of tea, however this was our first try with this company. We LOVED that it was organic and the teas themselves were very pleasing to us. What I didn't like was that nearly every tea bag separated from the string handle. This isn't a complete game changer, however it was inconvenient as we needed to fish the bags out. I probably won't purchase this brand again unless I hear this was changed. As far as the taste of the teas, I wasn't a fan of the roasted. My husband, however did like it. My favorites were the lemon, which I iced and served in bulk as well as the mint, which was really nice mid day. They had a nice pick me up and a gentle let down. We didn't feel a caffeine high.

Taste
I’m very pleased with the taste of the Yerba Mate’s flavor. Some mate’s can be quite bitter and harsh this is smooth and so pleasant. Thank you

It's just another tea earthy tea.
I'm trying to find a tea that replaces coffee and I'm not there yet. Not enough oomph for my morning power and focus. Overall not a bad-tasting tea if you are into earthy teas. Note this is very easy to get bitter if you make it too strong.

Very good tea
This tea, each flavor is very mild, nice and smooth. The only reason that I would never add sweetener, is because I believe it would overpower the mild flavor and then it would be more like drinking sugar water. I think these teas would be great for unsweetened ice teas, as well. This tea does not suppress one's appetite, that would be something that is more psychological...for if you believe it does, or that it might..maybe for you it will. But as the tea stands alone, there are no properties in it that truely suppress ones appetite, although this can be a nice notion, it just isn't the case. The tea does not increase my energy level, nor decrease, but the taste of the tea is still worth it.I am a coffee drinker and nothing can replace my warm cup of organic coffee with cream and sugar (or honey), but I do like this tea and I think it will be great for iced tea and drinking after a long walk, run or jog, as I do not care for the taste of plain water. This tea is a thumbs up for me. :O). Very happy with it and will purchase again.

Nice assortment of flavors in a new-to-me product, at a reasonable price for fancy tea
I frequently drink hot tea, mostly at work (because even lukewarm tea is a palatable thirst-quencher), but sometimes at home, too, especially when I'm feeling under the weather or want something with a little less caffeine than coffee just before bedtime. I had never tried yerba mate before, but I had heard about it (mostly in Spanish classes back in college), and this 4-flavor assortment pack was one of several food items which qualified for the "buy small business, get a $10 credit for Prime Day" promotion Amazon ran prior to Prime Day this year. Thus far, I've tried both the roasted mate bags (roughly similar to black tea) and the green mate with mint bags (one of 3 raw/unroasted mate flavors in this assortment (kind of like green tea), in this case with a slightly minty flavor added). At home, I place the bag directly in my usual mug and run a "cleansing brew" of plain hot water in my K-cup coffeemaker; at work, I get hot water from the hot-water tap of the office cooler (which dispenses filtered water from huge jugs). Let the mate steep a couple of minutes, just like you would with ordinary tea bags, stir if desired, discard the bag, and add whatever extras you normally add to hot tea.The taste of this yerba mate has been quite pleasant thus far, with no noticeable side effects or digestive issues. I certainly won't stop buying regular tea bags in favor of yerba mate bags, but I will certainly consider this if I'm looking for something tea-like for myself or as a gift, that slightly fancier than what I can find in local stores. Highly recommended!
