The sound is great. It comes with an aux cord, which is great except newer phones seem to be moving away from corded headphones. It works great with my mp3 player. The timer feature is nice, since you don't have to remember to turn it off when you are trying to wake up. We thought the indicator lights could be turned off but there's nothing in the instructions or on the device that we found. I am super sensitive to light when I sleep, and the light is above the speaker and under the fabric, which muffles the sound if you cover it. Since it's chargeable, I can put it on the floor with the light under the bed so it's not shining at me.Otherwise, this is a really nice noise machine and speaker.

plays well looks smooth and designed well. only problem is there is a crackling sound that will not go away no matter what setting I have it on. I'd like to return it but the return window is now closed i waited too long.

Lovely looking little unit. Small and compact with lux finishes. Light weight and smooth. The scape of volume is good and sound is pure for most but there is a crackling sound and a clicking noise during play. Could just be I have a faulty unit. I want to love this because it really works for me, however that interference messes with that. I think I am going to return it for a replacement. Too good a unit to not give it a second chance. Will write an update here.

I'm not a very sound sleeper, so white noise machines make a big difference for me. I sleep much better when I drown out outside noises. The tones are soothing and lull me to sleep and stay asleep. I usually use a Lectrofan, which I love and have had two of. I decided to try this Lexenic machine to see how it compares.It works pretty well, and provides a lot more choices for use. I can't play music on my Lectrofan, and having that ability is a plus in this one. There are more options with this unit. It looks nice, but takes up more room. I'm satisfied with it and will continue to use it and switch them up. This one is far less expensive than others, so it's not super fancy. But it works well, i have had no trouble with it.

I love these so-called white noise machines. They always remind me of the HoMedic’s sound machines, something that everyone used to seem to have. They were expensive, but worth the expense. The company is still in existence, producing high-quality products. This particular white noise machine has a wide variety of sounds, thirty-seven to be exact. If you want high-fidelity, take a pass as these are the standard sound bites I usually hear on these machines.I’m fortunate in that I don’t have problems sleeping, but still enjoy these machines. This one has an assortment of white noises, fan sounds, and as well as nature sounds, which I love. Because of its uniqueness, I’d say the target audience is the adult one. The case of this machine is actually a nicely polished beechwood. This has a small, but very comprehensive User Manual. There’s a high-quality USB cord, but no AC charger. There’s also an aux cable included.I decided to try out this white noise machine by plugging it into a battery pack. It wasn’t long before I was checking out those sounds and seeing how responsive the unit was. It’s very responsive, something I was uncertain of. The learning curve isn’t steep on this mode. The sounds are, as mentioned, typical and easy to identify. I do enjoy the nature sounds, some quite fun and realistic (others not so much so). Volume control was easy with a simple touch of a button. If I want, I can set this machine to operate on a timer for 30- or 60- minute intervals.For fun, I used to turn on an oceanside web cam to listen to the waves during my breaks at work. No there’s no need to do that because I can simply turn on this white noise sound machine and listen to them roll in. I find these sounds to be quite soothing, something I enjoy doing when I’m relaxing in the evening. This particular white noise machine has more sounds than others and has a fabulous case.
