These boards as the same sort of fun as skiing but at a fraction of the cost
I'm a rank beginner. This board was really to ride and has quite a good top speed. It can climb modest hills, steeper than that I carry it. I rode around my neighborhood on backstreets. Works on the road as well as the pavement (foot path). It can go over most cracks if you hit them with modest speed. My wife tried it, feel off a couple of times but is getting the hang of steering it and jumping off it she's loosing her balance. Would recommend at least a helmet. The remote works well, is simple and intuitive. Charging also for the remote and the board is simple and intuitive. I haven't yet run the board out of power, still had plenty of juice left after a run up the hill to the local cafe. It has one drive wheel, it can slip of wet roads and not give you the power you'd expect, but apart from loss of drive going uphill in the wet doesn't seem an issue. Putting more weight over the top of the drive wheel gives it more powder if it is slipping. The slow speed setting is good for learning, although when going uphill it helps to choose the higher setting as it seems to give it more climbing powder. This board is so much fun to drive around on. The break is a bit weak going down hills. It can break on the sort of hills it can climb and the higher speed setting also gives a stronger breaking powder. Steeper hills it will pick up speed even with the break fully on. I jump off if it is picking up too much speed and the break is enough for the board itself. Not too glamorous but it works to control speed. Jumping off forwards hitting the ground running seems the best strategy. The board came ready to go straight out of the box. That was a plus. No having to wait for it to charge. Was very intuitive.I ordered the more powerful board also because I want to be able to ride with my wife. The slow speed setting works well for my son on the pavement (foot path). He say's he'd prefer a mini as the board feels too big for him. Because he is so light he doesn't find it that easy to steer but he's getting the hang of it.

Great board for the price and great customer service!
I bought the board for my 16 year old son for Christmas and it was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten him! He has used it and has loved it! We recently had some issues with the battery and called customer support and I have to say, they were very responsive and helpful! Great customer service! Worth every penny!Update 8/6/2019- the battery on this board doesn’t seem to last very long. Had to replace it after less than a year of use. My so used it less than an hour a day. When replacing the battery, the bolts on the board began to spin on its own and customer service told me I needed to puncture through the grip tape on the top of the board to hold the screw in place in order to put the nuts back on. I don’t feel this is an acceptable fix as now there will be holes through the grip tape unless they are willing to send replacement grip tape!

Terrible product
If 0 were an option I'd use it. Run far from this company. What a huge disappointment the BLITZART Tornado 38" Electric Longboard E-Skateboard and Blitzart the company have been thus far. I bought the board as a Christmas present for my son in December of 2019 via Amazon. Of course he could not use the board until March here in Indiana. After 3 or 4 rides, it quit working. At first Blitzart refused to help claiming I needed to contact Amazon - an official retailer of Blitzart products according to the Blitzart website. I would have just returned the board but because it was purchased in December it was outside the Amazon return window. Several phone calls and emails later Blitzart agreed to send me a new battery. Ok fine but what happens if this doesn't work? At this point we were days away from the end of the warranty period. No problem Blitzart tells me. If the new battery doesn't work we will still fix it because you contacted us within the warranty period. I replaced the battery. What do you think happens? If you guessed that the board worked for 4 weeks and a half dozen trips up and down the street then died, you are correct.Another email to Blitzart. They ask me to give them a call and I do. They tried to troubleshoot but no luck. They ask me to send them the board so they can diagnose and fix it. At my own expense of $40+ dollars, I ship the board to California. I kept all the original packaging. I'm not happy. It's clear their batteries are garbage at this point but my kid wants to skateboard. Several weeks later I get an voicemail saying the board is ready and Blitzart wants to confirm my address before they send it back. I provide my address. Over a month later my kid wants to know where his skateboard is. Great question - I hadn't noticed it had been forever since they verified my address. Yet another email to Blitzart checking on the status. Blitzart tells me the board shipped and provided a tracking number. Nope. They only created a shipping label. I email back letting them know FedEx never picked up the board. Blitzart emails me back- our bad, you never paid for the repair and return shipping. Wait? What the what? Never once in any phone call or email did they mention me paying anything. Keep in mind I made sure these repairs to this lemon would be under warranty. Now they are holding the board hostage until I pay their ransom.
