I have a few different types of gout tea. This my first time in tea bags instead of granules. The product form description actually said granules and photos are yea bags. A little confusing.Main ingredients are Kudzu and Se-enriched tea. Other brands usually with mulberry leaf and/or Angelica Dahurica. I am no expert in Chinese medicines, and everyone reacts to them differently.I only had a major gout attack once. Since then, I follow my arthritis doctor diet, but he also said it’s fine to have a cheat day, just don’t have cheat day back to back. During holidays or parties, I can’t avoid the seafood and red meat. It slowly building up the pain. That’s how I started to drink gout tea. The benefits of Chinese medicine is to balance your body, not the quickest, but slowly and for longer run. I hate the indomethacin I took from my gout attack, it knocked me down and nauseous for two days.I just came back from my trip. I ate and drank everything I shouldn’t for 4 days. I brought this Wan Song Tang tea with me. I only drink once a day. I don’t feel anything pain build up.The only downside of this product is they are tea bags, not granules. For other brands, I am sure I drink everything in one cup when they are granules. For tea bags, you have to drink a few rounds to absorb the ingredients.

This is very overated tea and very expensive. I finished the entire package of tea and did not notice any improvement .

The tea came in a sealed box with twenty individually packaged tea bags inside., it is freshly dated and my box has an expiration date of January 2024. The tea is like others in that you steep the tea bag in hot water 3-5 minutes, remove and add honey or lemon if you choose before consuming. The directions say can reuse the teabag and the instructions are on the outer box. The taste to me is okay and is an acquired one, I will add honey to it next time to see if enhances the flavor. I will use this tea along with other foods that help balance uric acid. . I did not expect or see an immediate benefit but feel it is worthwhile to pursue consuming as the raw materials used in gout tea are all from plants in nature, without adding any chemicals.. It's an easy addition to your life that may improve your health and comfort.

I was looking forward to trying this tea. However the lack of sufficient ingredient info on the product has me concerned. All I can see is that it is a blend of Kudzu, se-enriched tea, and undisclosed floral teas.Which Flowers? What if someone is allergic to a flower that's included but not identified?Is se-enriched tea selenium-enriched tea? What tea is used and enriched? Is it green tea? Something else?If "se" refers to Selenium, then it claims to have selenium enriched tea. Selenium is a nutrient and so a nutrition fact label is required. It also claims it is for high blood pressure. This is a health claim. Health claims also require a nutrition facts label. Where is it? It's not on the product.I really have no clear idea what all is in this tea, and I am not up to gambling with what I ingest.

The media could not be loaded.  These Tbags are supposed to help with Blood Uric Acid balance. The Kudzu and se-enriched tea and flora tea are blended together. I Suffer from gout occasionally and hope this will combat any issues that arise from it, that supersensative feeling you get in your foot and leg. I want to use as a prevention as well to keep my Acid level down as to not let it build up to the point I have an attack. I did eat lots if meat and shrimp in last few days and no issues, so I am assuming this prouduct is helping as in the past I would feel some pain from eating as much. The tea has no taste to me, I added honey so that provided some flavor. The tea bag as you can see from the pictures and video I posted, starts out small but puffs up after steeping for a while, which is good to extract the out of the kudzu plant and other ingredients. They do state you can use the tea bags over again several times 2 to 4 times. I did use it 3 times and towards the end it seemed a little weaker if anything but it seemed OK. The tea does have a yellowish hue.

Got this to have on hand when a flare up of gout. My husband takes Hydrochlorothiazide for mild blood pressure issue. It is known to cause gout. My brother is just getting over gout and was taking the same blood pressure medication. Many of my patients on the same medication end up with gout flare ups. made a cup of tea to see what it taste like. Can't quite put my finger on it. It's mellow for sure. I'm a big fan of green tea with turmeric with a touch of honey so everything tastes mellow to me anymore. In theory this tea should help with calming gout symptoms but seriously...gout hurts something awful and would rather take a shot of whiskey! But that's not good for gout either. The anti inflammatory properties of this tea is just what the doctor ordered. I can't honestly tell you in truth this will work but it's worth a shot to have around along with your other vitamins and herbs and teas
