Bought a Fender acoustic guitar several months back, and it came shipped with these strings. I fell in love with the tone, and decided then and there the guitar would only use these strings. Loving them.

These strings work well with my clear coat finished flat top acoustic. They add an airy warmth along with the new string sound. Weather plugged in for live or being recorded in a studio they sound amazing.

These came on a new Fender T-Bucket 300ce I bought in 2015. A week after of playing, I pulled out the wire cutters and cut them off so I wouldn’t be tempted to ever reuse them. They are brittle, tinny, and just overall terrible strings. If you’re going to spend over $10 for strings, then get something decent such as Elixirs which are nothing short of terrific. I was never so happy as when I threw those Duratones in the trash.
