Whenever I have purchased one of the other brands, I found that the grip pads easily break of fall off the unit, and also that the item gets "stuck" in the closed position. In contrast, the Grabber is manufactured much better, excellent parts and components, user-friendly handle in a natural position for operation, and this brand looks much nicer when it's somewhere in the room. Mine has a very nice emerald green "grab."

On my fourth one because they are not really sturdy but my cat stops dead in her tracks when I pick it up. Then she listens to the command. Not sure why these intimidates her but she does like to chew on the ends! This one has a plus with the light too. Now I can use the light to see where she is so I don’t step on her. Will be purchasing another if this one breaks.

The green one does not work. The trigger will only open the claw an inch or so. It is worthless. I unfortunately bought a short orange and long green from the same company the same time, so both were put under one order, 1 box. I opened the box to use the short orange one and it has been working great. When I needed the longer one, I went to use and the claw will not open. It is too late to return. Check things when you first get them Just because one works does not mean others will. Lost $14.00.

Light weight and was perfect for the person i take care of. Good grip,magnet works great and light was bright enough to see what you are picking up in yhe dark. Great for elderly easy to use
