Fujifilm 50-230 mm/F 4,5-6,7 XC OIS II 50 mm Lens

Definitely you'll be surprised! This is underated lens but its pretty solid, a bit slow though, but you need some adjustments the you'll get your desired shot. Having fun using this lens.

This is well-built lens. Fujifilm lenses are generally quite good due to the superior optical glass and solid design of the lenses. This one is a really good value and the sharpness of the lens is quite good. I am very happy with it. Of course, the fact that it can zoom in to the SLR equivalent of 350mm means that you can capture far-out subjects quite well. Very good value for the money!

Face it, there are better tele-zooms for Fuji. However, they will all cost a lot more in size/weight and price. No, I won't be using this for professional portraits, weddings, etc. BUT - pair this with one of the "consumer" Fuji standard zooms like the 15-45mm and one of the smaller Fuji bodies and you have a very capable travel kit that fits in a relatively small bag and won't break your back.I've had other cheap tele-zooms from the likes of Canon and Tamron (in the same price and focal length range) and this Fuji is considerably better regarding image quality.
