Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Gold LabelMen's Straight Fit Cargo Shorts

I wear cargo shorts year-round and have no problem in winter because I spend very little time outdoors. It would be nice to have them offered in a heavier weight, but I am most disappointed that they do not offer darker colors.

Seem to be well made. I’m hesitant to review items until I’ve worn/used them for at least 6 months . These shorts are the weight and style I was looking for (mid weight) .

Well.. I have good news and bad news about the Signature Men's Straight Fit Cargo Shorts. I'd been looking for a slim fitting pair of cargo shorts when I came across these... The fact that they are advertised as elasticized sold me... I wear nothing buy elasticized Levi jeans and a cargo short pants version seemed ideal. I'm a 35" waist and nobody seems to make odd sizes so I buy 34" pants with an elastic waistband and the fit is almost always perfect.. I ordered the 34" size. They arrived after a lengthy wait (supply issues, I guess) and they looked very well made... Tried them on and as advertised they are slim and trim.. They look great! They drop just above the knee where I wanted them. The quality is as you'd expect from Levis.. The design is comfy and the material is a little better than I expected from some lackluster reviews.However..while the fit is snug right out of the package, I know that after one washing they'd shrink at least 1" at the waist. The deal breaker is, the only thing on the Signature Men's Straight Fit Cargo Shorts that's NOT elasticized is the waist band.. Are you kidding me? If you see a pair of pants advertised as elasticized, one would assume that at the very least.. the waist is where elastic is needed.. Apparently the design team never got that memo... Unbelievable. OK... I love the look of the pants... thought I'd try a larger size.. Shipped the 34" back and received a pair of 36". While I'm sure they'd shrink down to a 35", the rest of the pants (on the 36" version) is oversized, baggie, too long negating the entire purpose of buying the slim, elasticized pants. I returned the 36" for a refund.. Still shocked they put elastic in the shorts everywhere except where it's really needed.. Baffling..

These shorts are great. I expect quality from Levis and these do not disappoint. I went with the camo style cause.....cause its camo! Who doesn't like camo? The material is ripstop, so despite the 2% lycra content and the stretch, these don't stretch as much as other clothes I have with the 2% lycra but that's ok. There's still some stretch. What you gain from sacrificing a little stretchiness is durability and lightness. The material is very light and cool, but the ripstop gives them an indestructible feel and these are definitely durable based on my testing so far. Fit is spot on. I wear size 32 in other Levis and the 32 fit perfect. Length is just above knee (touching knee cap for me, I'm 6'0). I'm going to be buying more of these in other colors.

Very comfortable, easy to iron and nice looking compromise between jeans and dress shorts look. Unfortunately my wallet finds its way out of the back pocket when setting on a bar stool. Otherwise it’s a five star product.

Fit to size, well made

Very good looking great quality cotton shorts. Length should be ideal for men roughly 6 ft tall (plus or minus one inches). Falls just above knees.

Good fit.. they look and feel good... meaning comfortable to wear I like the bit of stretch they are made by Levi
