I was building something and needed some plugs and jacks. I had just enough space for a pair of these.The solder cups are small but they exist and I was able to insert wires and solder them. The "proper" hole size for these is a bit smaller than 1/2" but drilling with a 1/2" drill does work - the connector will be loose in the hole until the nut is tightened but then it will look and work just fine.They aren't the correct size for most radios but that's what I wanted - nobody will accidentally connect a microphone to it.

Total garbage look at the photos, these cups are not all hollow. Not sure what factory made these but all five are unusable. Wire cups are supposed to be hollow to stick a wire in. Also just to show size I am holding an arduino jumper on top of one.

This was a high quality product and I had no issues assembling the connecting wires. It's a great way to insure a secure, properly aligned connection in four-wire applications. I used mine to connect the +/5 15VDC, common, and earth ground power supply to a data acquisition system for bipolar displacement transducers. I'd recommend these.

There are many things wrong with these items.1st - These connectors do NOT have hollow points like they should so I can insert wires to solder properly.2nd - The nuts to hold these connectors in place, do NOT FIT. They are too big. They do not screw on well. They constantly shift and double thread. They slide off and will not allow the smaller socket to be mounted securely.This is a complete design flaw.

What I expected.

Seem to be top quality connectors, if more needed I will re-buy from this seller.

These work as expected and fit nicely.
