I'm very disappointed in the size of these packs. As you can see from the attached photographs they contain only 250-or-so grams. I got more than 3 times this amount when I bought chips from a major BBQ manufacturer for only £1 more. Whilst I appreciate the economies of scale - and maybe these are designed to be "testers" for the 10l bag - but I wouldn't trust them to deliver on the larger size.

I have bought loads of different types of wood for smoking, this is one of the best I have used to date.Smoked :pork shoulder; spatchcocked check and beef short ribs. (On a kamado) approximately 1/4 of a cup of wood chips.Gave a pleasant light smoke flavour not pungent or overpowering as some do.I would definitely recommended this product.

The product image depicts a large box of apple wood chips and states that it contains 5 litres. The box actually is no bigger than a small child’s shoe box and the chips range from a decent size of chip to practically dust., mostly minuscule pieces. It’s a waste of money and I would suggest to anyone buying wood chips to look elsewhere and not buy this product. My only relief is that I didn’t take the one litre option which I had considered as it would have been incredibly small.

Good value for money, left an amazing smell while cooking and left even better taste. Got quite a lot for the price
