Chemical taste from these freezer trays + EDIT
I bought a whole bunch of these for making baby food. Cleaned them properly, aired them out. And then used them to make ice cubes a few times. We put those in water and I was wondering what that disgusting taste was. First I thought our water filter had failed, but no it was fine. It was the freezer tray. Nobody wanted to use the ice cubes anymore because they tasted like plastic or some kind of weird chemical. I would never put baby food in there now. This is so disappointing. I have 5 (or 6) of them and wasted around $50.Edit: I have since received advice from another mom: boil the silicone trays in plain water for quite a while. Turns out this helped, no more bad smell or taste. However, this should be mentioned by the company if it becomes necessary. Also, Wee Sprouts has sent me a whole package with 2 more freezer trays, and a few other pieces of their baby line in order to apologize/persuade me to give them a better review. I liked that they actually did this, and added a handwritten letter. At least it seems like they care.

Does Not Pass "Pinch" Test
I wish we could keep this...it is easy to use and super easy to "pop" the frozen food outThe reason I'm sending it back is that this product does NOT pass the "pinch test" (twist or pinch the silicone, and it turns white). This means that this product does not use 100% food grade silicone, but instead uses plastic fillers as well as silicone. I don't want to take the chance of chemicals leeching into my baby's food, so this will be returned.

BUYERS BEWARE! NOT 100% SILICONE LIKE THEY CLAIM!
I'm very disappointed in these. I bought one from Amazon and one from their actual website. I wanted somthing safe to put my sons baby food in and these are made with fillers. They claim to be all silicone but as you can see by the pictures they are not. Why are so many companies lying about what their products are made of? It's so hard to find something that is 100% silicone to put his food in. Such a let down.

SO DANGEROUS!!!!!
UPDATE:I reached out to the company and they were concerned about my experience, they reached out to the manufacturer and confirmed that the dye is non-toxic and told me I should not be concerned that it leached out. Now, I know what ‘Non-Toxic’ means and it hardly ever means that so I would still be very weary of the product. I am, however, giving a lot more stars for the customer service and care. It took an extremely long time to resolve things (partially because they were busy, partially I was) but still they did everything to make the situation right. Raising from 1 star to 4 for customer service. Product still in my opinion is still iffy. I suggested they do a 100 % dye free pure silicon. All these funky colors are just not needed for our children’s health.ORIGINAL:THE COLOR IS LEACHING OUT WHICH MEANS IT IS ENTERING THE FOOD!!!!! After a few weeks of use they are looking blotchy as some of the areas have leached more than others. THIS IS SO UPSETTING. Just stop using dyes if you can't make the product right!!! Or use beet juice or something natural for a hint of color!!!

Perfect for freezing baby food!
Perfect for freezing batches of baby food! One tray of frozen food will fit perfectly in a quart size baggie.I only bought four little glass containers to use for travel, otherwise the bags are an easy way to store the food.No need to buy baby bullet, just use your blender or food processor and store easily this way.

UPDATED REVIEW: Improved product addresses previous issue with strong smell
UPDATED REVIEW: I rarely review products, but when I received this in October 2016 and it had a strong, off-gassing smell, I felt it was worth writing one, since I was concerned about possible health implications (My original review is below). I have to give it to this business, they have terrific customer service. I was immediately issued a refund and was sent a replacement product. That replacement, however, had the same problem -- it smelled strongly for a while. After a number of weeks, the smell did fade, and I ended up using the replacement product. All other aspects of the product make it very convenient for freezing pureed foods for my baby, and I have been pleased with it.Much to my surprise, I just got yet another unsolicited replacement in the mail today with a personal note from the business owner, explaining that they had improved the manufacturing process to address the issue that I noted. The new product doesn't have the strong smell that the earlier ones did. I am very impressed with the businesses response to customer reviews, and have updated my review accordingly.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The silicone has a terrible smell, as other one star reviewers have noted. It doesn't fade with washing or airing out. I am concerned about the smell permeating frozen food and am not sure if it is safe to store or freeze baby food in this container.

Way way easier and better than I expected!!
It has been more than a year since I bought 2 of these trays, and then 2 more. I wanted to make all of my first child’s baby food and after a lot of searching I found these. They’re amazing. I successfully made all of my first, and now second, babies’ food pretty easily.Yes, the trick to getting the frozen “cubes” out is to let them sit on the counter for 10-15 min (or less if it is really hot). Then they just pop out. I store many different puréed whole foods and microwave them as needed. These are truly the best homemade baby food helpers!!** Get the pouches too! This is how I was able to 100% make all of my babies’ food - even when we were out, I would squirt the food into their mouth, no spoon needed. The trick for these is to NOT overfill. They’ll pop open at the bottle if you have thick food and squeeze hard, especially when the food is cold and therefore harder. Easy to clean with or without a dishwasher (have one now but didn’t for Baby #1)Both of these products have lasted through 2 exclusively-homemade fed babies.

The paint is not safe
I was just washing the lids under the hot tap and the paint melted. It's impossible to scrab it off now and it went inside the lid too. I have never put it to the microwave, neither dishwasher, just the freezer. Not sure if it's safe for the baby now

does the job! I am currently using to freeze ...
does the job! I am currently using to freeze little portions of breast milk and plan to use for weanings portions as well. One thing is that the clip to open the lid is actually a bit more tricky than other reviews suggested - I feel a bit wary of precious milk being spilt as I try to clip / un-clip. I stick on labels with dates, as it doesnt have anything for you to label when you made / froze. Handy size though.

Great little baby food cube tray
I'm really pleased with the baby food cube trays. I've now been using them for 2 weeks to do my batch cooking for my baby boy. They're fantastic, good portion sizes, easy to remove and clean, great clip on lid to prevent food from spilling out before frozen.I will most likely invest in a couple more trays in the near future.

Brilliant for freezing food and so easy to remove!
It is so easy to remove frozen whatever from these due to the shape and spacing!Makes it easy to quickly batch freeze up different types of sauces or whatever. Should have bought 2 as the amount one of these can freeze isn't as big as others (partly due to the spacing but the ease of removal makes up for that!)

Really pleased. High Quality and Easy to Use
Really pleased with this. It's a good quality item. The purees freeze perfectly inside and the lid stays nicely in place. The food just pops out easily. I like that it is a product sold by a family with quality and safety in mind. Can't wait to cook more purees now!
