Fluval Betta Premium Aquarium Kit, 2.6 Gallon

A NICE little aquarium suitable for a Betts as stated. When I opens the box it came in, it was well packed I was pleasantly surprised looks good I thought and in one piece. Very easy to set up as well , put in my sand substrate and my small pieces of Dragon stone switched off on and run it for a couple of days to mature. On the third day I noticed that the temperature was only73 degrees and the water pump was not working at all completely solid ,as it's a sealed unit you just can't get inside it replaced turnpike with one I used it worked fine, the heater just would not to any higher , so replaced therewith one I already had and that present heater was stuck on74 degrees , the light worked fine on and the other moan that I have is the water pump and the heater come with a two pin plug so you will have to buy a shaver adaptor plug for them. Am I sending it back NO to much hassle, and I'm Lily having kept tropical fish for over 40+ years I have accumulated a vast amounting spares. The whole conception of this Betts aquarium is ok , but take a chance it's up to you.

Pump stopped working in a week

This tank came with American plug fittings, clearly not intended for sale in the UK or Europe. There is no mention of this in the item description. Do not buy if UK based.

The electrical accessories (pump/light) are only suitable for US / 110V regions. Not sure why is this being advertised in UK /220V regions.

This is not intended for the UK market and comes with American or European plugs. I had to buy plug adaptors for both the filter and the heater. The pump lasted 3 days before it gave up. It is a very small pump and doesn't appear unto the job. Although this could be due to not being suited for the British electrical system. The tank itself is quite small. But well sized for a betta fish. It hides the filter and heater etc well and is pleasant to look at. Although I would say that there are other tanks avalible which are better suited to the UK market.

Liked the tank. But unfortunately the pump stopped working on day 2. Other than that the tank looks great.
