By hooking up a mic/headset to your computer, you can plug this cord into the speaker output of your PC, right-click on the volume control icon, find your mic in Playback Devices, double click on your mic and check 'listen to this device'. Just be sure to keep volume turned down to about 20. Your friends should be able to hear you better than normal if your mic is good enough, and you can have some fun with sound boards. Even music plays through at mp3 quality.

Bought this to replace my headset to controller cable for my Tritton headset after someone stepped on mine at a party. Was very excited to get the part just in time for raid night with my brother (we live 1000 miles away from each other, we look forward to it) but doesn't work. I could get it to work by pushing hard on the cable against the headset hub, but had to get through an entire Destiny raid occasionally f**king with the cable and holding it against an edge to get it to transmit a simple message, even then it emitted an annoying sound to everyone else.Absolutely do not buy this. It seemed like a great deal for what I assumed was a simple part, but turns out to be a terrible part and now I have to buy a new one and miss another raid night. Get a better quality one that will actually work, DO NOT BUY this one, as it is extremely low quality and will not work.I'd like to think it's defective, and maybe they'll read this and send me one that works, but as far as I can tell it's a crap product, I wasted enough time on it that you shouldn't have to.

I was looking for a new mic cord replacement and this works totally fine and perfect. Good quality, This is the 2nd time i've bought from HDE and they have an amazing service. This isn't the official Tritton mic cord but it will work for all of them. This is not for the Turtle beach x1's, the x1's have a 2.5mm to 2.5mm cord and this is 2.5mm to 3.5mm. Please keep that in mind. I doubt it'll break unless you rage and stomp on it.. Good days.

Good buy, used them for a headset that was wireless, and they worked perfectly, I love how simple it is, with the volume control, and the mute button. Very good buy if you need to use this for a wireless headset for the Xbox 360/PS3

This wire is a perfect replacement for your tritton headset. if you are like me this wire broke on me. i had trouble looking for it but i finally found it and it was this. this is like i said not for turtle beaches, but you can get a adapter. if you are looking for turtle beach headphones look for 2.5mm to 2.5mm xbox headset wire. you should find it.

I bought an the mic cable for my tritton triger headset its very good lasted me a year but then it stoped working so order a new one very good for a low price

Plugs in tightly no static very nice fit.Cord is plenty long enough for people who fidget around while playing.On the downside the cord feels thin and like it could break relatively easy as of yet still going strong.

I do not have a headset to test this with but so far it works with both my Samson Go Mic and Blue Yeti microphones. You can even control volume and plug phones/MP3 players into it.
