The more we learn of God’s characteristics through His names, the more we learn to worship and serve Him. Beautifully written.

I have actually read this book through several times. I have also led this book in Biblestudy. It is a wonderful blending of the "I AM" statements of Christ from the book of John with the Old Testament equivalent name of God and the furniture of the tabernacle. It is amazing to see the whole Bible linked together. My only complaint about this book is that the author can be a bit wordy at times...

Jennifer Kennedy Dean's research is meticulous and her writing style pleasingly conversational. This book presents fresh insights into the "I AM" declarations of Jesus Christ, especially as they relate to the Old Testament and our personal lives today. Equally suitable for individual or group study.

I am in a book study group that is using this book. The leader is a marvelous teacher and she has made the words of Jennifer Kennedy Dean come alive. I recommend Power in the Name of Jesus as a great study.

If you have never done a Bible study with JKD, you have truly missed out. She is incredibly insightful and has been given a great gift from the Holy Spirit. I have done many of her studies, and they have totally changed the way I pray.

great book

Very informative!! Lots of meat. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand who Jesus is. Our women's bible study group used this book as our guide for studying the I AM names of Jesus.

Definitely this is an excellent book to be read and meditated on it. Thanks much.
