The right tool for the job
Works really well for straight and gentle curves and leaves a crisp edge. A really good alternative to 3M for most purposes. If not a complex masking job like flames etc., this is the right tool.

Does the trick much better than other painter's tapes to avoid bleed
I used typical blue or green tape to tape of the back of a guitar neck in order to use Indian ink on a guitar fetboard. It failed and bled like crazy.Applying it very carefully and giving over it with a metal tiller, the bleed was 95 percent less on this. I still had to be careful, but this worker way better. I used this for the fine lines and more regular tape to make beyond that, just for safety.

No Bleeding Edges
I was skeptical, but this tape works great for acrylic paint art projects.

Avoid this if you want to turn even the slightest corners
I have used multiple brands of automotive fine line tape, and this has to be the worst. This is a weird, waxed, paper-backed nightmare that can't turn the slightest corner, or stay put. Totally ruined my project and I get to start over.

Meh
I know it's crepe paper, but there was ZERO flexibility with this tape. Strict straight lines are the only thing this tape can do. Even on clean metal surfaces it had a hard time sticking even with multiple pressure passes with my finger. Its OK but I wont ever buy it again. Poor adhesion and zero flexibility.

It does the job.
The tape is good for straight lines which is what I do best. Being a paper type product short radius corners are not going to work.
