Great item for grand parents

The photo is of my original Pik Stik which I've owned for over 20 years. I've lifted gallon jugs, weights, heavy books, pulled heavy boxes, used it to brace myself, etc. without breaking it for 20+ years. The only reason it's broken now is bc my 2 year old grandson was stepping over and on it as a game and stepped on the handle and cracked it off. I'm going to put a wooden dowel in it to repair it and then he can have it and break the rest of it (if he can). These are VERY well made and seems like it would have lasted the rest of my life if the little guy didn't try to break it.

These Pik Stik pickup tools are really amazing. I have picked up 5 pounds with it without breaking. I have used these for many years. I own 3 of them. Two are named Thing One and Thing Two.The third has no name yet. I once bought six of another brand of pickup tool at a flea market. All of them are broken except 1 and that is because it is lost in the pole barn and hardly used. While anything can be broken if you try hard enough, these things seem to be pretty much indestructible. If they seem too expensive, you will never have to buy a replacement and your children will be inheriting them many years later.
