Good fit, good quality.
I'm a new wheelchair user and it was obvious after my first day I'd need gloves to prevent blistering. I've very wide palms but less lengthy fingers so fingerless seemed my best bet. The thumb has some spare play in it but I expected that for the same reason. It's not excessive though.I wore them on a day in the chair for the first time and I was able to forget I had them on - not sweaty or itchy at all. The only real reminder now and then is the quick-removal loops which are an unusual sensation but they're not intrusive. What impressed me was how well they stood up to the abuse they got, in keeping my chair in control on a very steep downhill slope. I'm heavy, so there was a huge risk of a runaway ride and unpleasant end. But I was able to keep firm pressure on the rim using the pal and thumb heel pads, maintaining a slow controlled speed throughout, and not experiencing any discomfort from the friction heat passing through to my palm. The material itself only experienced very slight graining/roll of the surface where the hard pressure friction had been happening. No sign of ripping or tearing, no damage to stitches and seams.Very happy with my purchase.

A Must for Self-Propelling Chair Users!
Of all the things I've bought to improve my life as a wheelchair user, these gloves have definitely offered the greatest benefit vs. cost!As well as saving the palms of my hands from blisters and callouses, they greatly improve my ability to propel myself by providing much more traction on my rather slippery pushrims. I find them comfortable, hardwearing, and - whilst admittedly not incredibly stylish - they're fairly discreet and not too hideous... which is more than can be said of a lot of mobility gear!I very highly recommend these to anyone trying to get around in a self-propelled chair.

Nice but no grip
Got these for wheelchair sports, they cover my thumbs and they look nicer than other gloves. They're easy to take off and seem very strong, they don't have much grip on metal pushrims tho, I have silicone covers so can use them but they wouldn't work well without my covers I think.(Also a bit big, I should have ordered XS)

Too big and hard to grip
These gloves are too big and I've spent more time readjusting them than I have wearing them. The quality is good but they seem to chunky and they do get on the way. Also the coloured part of the material is itchy. I personally don't like them but someone else might.,

Excellent
I’m a new wheelchair user and was a bit confounded as to which gloves would be best for self propelling. These are great. They grip well, they prevent blistering on your hands and thumbs, they’re comfortable, and they fit well. I’m a pudgy female with relatively large hands, a size large fit me perfectly.

Helpful!
I’m a new wheelchair and user and these are really helpful. The loops to help you pull of, one of them frayed instantly but the others have stayed in tact - not really an issue. The padding is great, could be slightly more but would be a bit heavy I would have thought. The fingerless is nice for breathable but I’m getting blisters on my fingers but that’s to be expected. Overall nice gloves, look nice but not too flashy which I appreciate, and decent price for something I can have for a while.
