Pretty straightforward. It’s well built brass for compression pex and it does the job. I’d buy it again if needed!

These are indeed for 1/2" pex -- despite an earlier reviewers comments -- these are for TYPE A expansion pex. If you don't know the difference between expansion pex and regular (type B) pex, maybe you shouldn't be doing plumbing.These worked great, my only complaint is that there are no flats on the fitting to allow the use of a wrench to tighten. I knew that from the pictures so no stars deducted.
