Best book to teach french to kids.
This is such a lovely book. Quite simply it makes learning French fun. Charming illustrations, easy to follow story. And you learn fun words too, not silly 'school' type stuff, but things like the words for "whisk" or "happy birthday" and even "pickle" which raised a massive laugh in our house. There is another one in this series and I'm getting that for sure.

Why printed to be read back to front???
Why is this book printed to be read backwards??Plus there are errors in the French grammar.

Excellent book
This is a great book with an even better idea for exposing a person to a second language. I really like the fact that the pages include footnotes with the French to English translation to help the person learning. There is a typo on one of the pages 10 points for anyone else who finds it. Happy reading

There are two type-o’s in this book.
Really enjoyed the first book I bought from this author, The Fabulous Lost and Found. The illustrations were nice as was the story. This book is not illustrated quite as as nicely in my opinion and there are two type-o’s in it, one on the second last and one on the last page of the book - We eat is written twice in English rather than once in English then the french translation and the phrase nous Sommes heureux which is WE are happy, not HE is happy. I also feel these books are priced too high. I will give the first book to my 4 yr old grandson who is in JK in French immersion but I won’t give him the second book, I will likely return it.
