Q: Are there brakes or slow options for the wheels?

Hello Mercedes Kim, the Wildwoods Owl cart is not equipped with any braking or slowing features, and while it’s safety rated for kids 12 months and up, children should not be allowed to pull themselves up on toy, or use toy to stabilize themselves when standing if they cannot stand unassisted. Parental or guardian supervision may be needed for little ones who are in the developmental stage of walking with this push toy. We appreciate your interest and inquiry.

Q: Is the walker Greenguard Certified?

Hello Carolyn, while our Wildwoods Owl Push-Cart does not have the Greenguard certification, you can take comfort that Manhattan Toy meets or exceeds the exhaustive toy safety regulations for the US, EU, UK and Canada created by their governing bodies. Among the many tests this toy passes included in our 91-page test report is the Canadian Toys Regulations SOR/2011-17 as Amended, Item 23 – Leachable Elements in Paints and Surface Coatings as well as Directive 2009/48/EC Safety Toys as Amended by 2019/1929/EU, Formaldehyde in Textiles (and Polymeric Materials). Q: How easily does this tip over when the child pulls to stand and walk with it?

My one year old pulls up on it and walks with it a lot and has not pulled it over! I’d say it is fairly sturdy.
