Q: Can i use it on acrylic tank?

Yes. I have mine in an acrylic sump with no issues

Probably not a good idea unless you have a really COLD room for you tank, thus not overworking a lower wattage heater & wearing it out prematurely.

You Must put it entirely under water ! Yes.

Q: Had this heater less than one year and seeing condensation around the red/green on/off indicator. Is this normal?

I just found this condensation on mine this morning! I've had it a year also!
