What this book taught me about magnesium
You know how we're always told to take calcium and magnesium for our bones? Here's something interesting: according to this author calcium needs magnesium for better absorption (of calcium)--however, calcium impedes absorption of magnesium to a large extent. Evidently, so many people who need more magnesium are deficient because they take them together. So now I take cal/mag in the daytime, and magnesium at night by itself--the kind the author suggests--and wow, my "bone aches" are subsiding, and I am sleeping sooooo much better at night, not to mention improvement of other bodily functions. This book is worth the read, and consideration, and trying out for yourself what works.

Very informative and advice works!
After reading/studying the recommendations in this book, I implemented the suggestions. Amazingly, my bone density remained stable for one year (without medication.)Last year I suffered a spontaneous femoral fracture due to bone density medication. Extremely painful and dangerous; along with surgery, and both inpatient and outpatient rehab.By implementing these suggestions, my bones have remained stable.Great book!!!

Fantastic reference!
This has become my go-to vitamin reference in my Bone Health program. It is easy to read and has a wealth of information. Highly recommended for everyone - but particularly for those trying to learn more about specific vitamin sources that are important in Bone Health.
