In addition to this one I also purchased one of the plastic ones. I have a son and a stepdaughter so what one gets the other usually has to have but I wanted them to be different so they could keep track of their own. This is the metal version and it's definitely heavier and more sturdy and much less capable of having the pins bent as the plastic ones. I love this and it really reminds me of childhood because it's pretty much the exact version I had when I was a kid. I gave this one to my stepdaughter since she is a little older and she loves it. The kids were playing with the broken plastic one we had because of how much they loved it. This is one of those toys that is inexpensive and gets played with every day. You cannot beat that!

The product is fun. The only down side is the needles are a little bit far away. That makes the effect is not quite obvious.

Bought for 5 & 7 year old grandblessings. Favorite toy of the house. Adult in the house has anxiety & Constantly playing with this. Second guessed on buying due to the pins. Not harmful or hurtful while kids interact. Buying more for Christmas gifts for kids of all ages

The pins do not push back in straight.
