My immediate impression upon opening the box was wow this is astonishingly high quality. It even smells like a new car. The entire cage is aluminum with the phone sliding snugly into place on the soft rubber buffer inside, so it does seem to be very sturdy. The hinged lock mechanism is very smartly designed as I can take the phone out easily at any time without worry of warping as with the usual struggles of fitting a normal case. There are numerous mounts on the cage and some on the top of the handle as well.The handle is, however, made of mostly plastic with the mount portion made out of aluminum. Despite this, the plastic does not diminish the quality look and feel of it.I plan on using Moondog anamorphic lenses on this via the now-standardized M-mount. Given the availability of this cage with the available mounts versus the floppy plasticy Moment cases with the same mounts for around the same price (if not more), the choice is a no-brainer.I do feel that the luxuriously looking box and foam packaging that it comes in is wholly unnecessary. While it conveys quality, it is a waste of material and contributes to unnecessary waste. I would not have minded if it came in a simple plastic bag, and I surmise that a lot of other people will have this sentiment as well.

The media could not be loaded.  One is still close. As a backup and the first one which I have on for only two months.The rubber started to brake ANDDDD the glue on the handle start falling off I haven’t glue it back yet. But I will try to glue it back my self hopefully it will worm

Overall this is a great product, the screw on the handle tends to come loose and from time to time it will need to be tightened. Also, due to the metal frame, you WILL either lose your wireless signal or it will degrade radically. Has definitely helped with improving the quality of content we create in our office, I would recommend it for sure.

I wanted to love this product, it really Is a great concept to have a full time phone rig. The inside protective rubber has started ripping after about half a year. I do use it as My full time case with out taking the phone out of the case but maybe twice. It’s already not a great protective case but I now fear if I drop my phone it’s going to really be bad. So I would suggest using this case as needed, but o would love to keep it on My phone full time, but not that the inside is ripping I will go back to my other case.

I was a little bit wary about sliding my phone in but it fits with ease and there isn’t any movement once locked. The multiple cold shoe mounts are very useful as well! Great product overall.
