Difficult to use, touch switches don't workI want to return an item but the return period has expired.Can I return it now?

I did what it said and it still didn't work after i was ready for it to work made me mad..

I have been using this diffuser in my car for over a month now, and it has been a gamechanger. This product was easy to install, and I've basically been able to let it sit and not worry about it since. It looks a little bulky, but other than that, I couldn't be happier. Not sure how long until I'll need to add more essential oils to it, but it's been keeping my entire car fresh without overpowering my nostrils. Very happy with this!

This hasn't met expectations in several areas. When it comes to convenience, it's been problematic. It is bigger than the picture alludes, and doesn't fit in any of our car cup holders, like in the picture. It also can't be mounted on any of our dashes, even with the included mounting pad, since our dashes are not flat. So, the only place would have to be on a center console, which isn't going to happen. (Arms would knock it off etc). The next issue is the quality. This is a very light, cheap plastic item that looks the same as it feels. Lastly, I would've expecting this to be more intuitive and self explanatory to use. It's not difficult, but takes more time and attention to set up than expected.

Do not buy, plastic tank that holds the oil broke before use, tried to super glue it back together and just broke more I will stick to my trudine diffuser

I used my Own Jasmine oil. Needs a better tank made of glass

This is basically a reed diffuser that gets some powered diffusion help from the battery-powered atomizer. Reed diffusers work by absorbing thinned essential oil in a reed or in this case a wick and then emitting the fragrance from the end of the wick into the air. The atomizer in this diffuser controls how much powered help it gives the diffused fragrance.Oil made for reed diffusers are thinned with a thin carrier oil, like safflower or almond, so it can easily be absorbed by the reed or wick. Essential oil on its own is too thick by itself to be easily absorbed by the wick. That's why the product page says this diffuser is made for water-soluble oils. The oil supplied with this diffuser is reed diffuser oil. You may or may not like the scent. The package doesn't say what it is but it smells floral to me.Having said all that, the diffuser is easy to use. You basically unscrew the oil compartment from the bottom, put the wick in the center, and fill the compartment that has the wick and screw the top part back on. The diffuser is rechargeable so you don't have to deal with cords. The middle Power button turns it on and cycles through the 4 timed mist settings - 5 seconds mist every 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes. LEDs light up to indicate the timing - 1,2,3,or 4 lights. The strength of the fragrance is quite good, so I like the lower settings.I'm using this right now in my laundry room that also has a cat litter box in it. I find this diffuser ideal for this use case. For car use, it also comes with a gel adhesive mat similar to what some phone mounts come with. A charging cord is supplied as well. The "be careful" warning in my title is about the type of oil to use. You can use premixed reed diffuser oil, which is readily available but pricy, or you can use your own essential oils that you have thinned with carrier oil. There is some information out there that you can thin with water but it may not work as well.So - all in all, this diffuser works pretty well as long as you use thinned oil in it.
