2 pack grabber
When I purchased the 2pack grabber I would have thought by even reading the reviews it sounded really great to buy and being as I have a long term illness would have thought it would have been nice to have and use. When I opened the pack of two I ended up finding that only one of them wasn’t working so I had to end up throwing one away. But at least I’ll be able to get a refund. It would have been nice to have the two so just in case the other doesn’t work, but then thought I would have been able to give it to a friend who is in need of using it. I would tell anyone don’t but it’s a waste of money!!

Flimsy
I was surprised how flimsy is its construction. The illustrations of the gadget suggest a more robust product

STURDY -GRIP WELL
The wife and i like these ... I have several by different manufacturers. Each one lacking in some way . Believe it or not BESIDES These 2.. thebest one I have is from Harbor Freight.. cost $3.. These 2 have a real good grip. And they pick up small items.. The only thing that I don't like is that the way they connect when they are unfolded and assemble. Don't get me wrong they are fine for general use but I keep one on my GATOR for use outside, And I wound up Gorilla taping the joints to ad some real sturdiness for picking up limbs rocks and other farm items. We will see how long they last and report back on any failures..

Look elsewhere
We’ve got a bunch of these grabber sticks (in vehicles, rooms, at work etc); normally we buy another brand but I wanted the magnet tip for my elderly father so he could pick up metallic items and the shoe horn to help him get on his Velcro sneakers. However, it looks like I’ll re’vive’ my pattern of buying the other ones because this one apparently has cheap little plastic retainer clips (I guess you’d call them) that hold the claw together and they broke within minutes of picking up dog toy ‘carcasses and paper tags’…I was very surprised and disappointed. Maybe this one had a manufacturing defect, as no process is ever 100% perfect, and it was challenging to get the grasper claw to fully close securely on an item but I’m not clear that these flimsy little clip things are the best idea for a moving mechanism, regardless…oh well, nice ideas and I liked the high visibility orange for my dad.

I put these through the tests
I own 40 acres and 36 are heavily wooded. Each spring, we go around the cleared sections to pick up all the limbs and sticks that have fallen over the winter. We get a lot of wind here in the ozarks so this is no small task. Takes a total of about 12 hours. I use these to pick them up which saves my back and legs. I do wear them out but they are put through the ringer. I've tried a couple different ones but I now only order these, they work the best for me and grab the small stuff with ease.
