This item is GREAT! I love hearing the zap! Mosquitos love me and it's a sick pleasure when o hear that zap! I even talent it on walks with the dog! Highly recommend over other items due to the portability.

It works well, there are always a lot of mosquitoes in the summer and it was a great help for that.

Honestly this thing is amazing, I love the setting where you can just prop it up and ZAP the little devils... I turn it on with the attracting light, put it in my dark room and BE WARNED - the zap sound is INCREDIBLY alarming. I wouldnt dare zap a bug infront of me out of fear of popping my ear drum.. unless I really had to. But this thing works great!

It didn't last a month. It is malfunctioning and now appears to be dangerous. We are throwing it away.Edit: I contacted the manufacturer through a link on Amazon, and they made it right. They sent a replacement product within 4 days. I am satisfied.

Great. Killed a bunch of flies. Spark sound is very loud but everything else is great

At first, this worked wonderfully for flies and performed better outdoors than indoors. To be honest, it's better for mosquitos. It doesn't kill the flies, just stuns them. It takes several zaps, which is kind of stressful and brutal in my opinion. But it worked.It takes a long time to charge but initially once charged the charge held strong. However, after about a month, the effectiveness began to degrade. By two months, only one-third of the nodes light up, and the charge held for a shorter and shorter time. Unless you strike a fly or mosquito in the lower third of the panel, and charge frequently it is essentially useless.I contacted the company, and to their credit, they got back to me the next day. However, their tone was accusatory, as if I was making this up... um, why? They asked for video of the problem. First, I don't want to spend any more time on this bug zapper than necessary. Also, how to video while trying to attack a fly? That's just awkward. Or did they want a video of the length it took to discharge the charge? Still...sort of a weird request.I wouldn't have spent any time reaching out had it still worked properly. In the end, I do not want a replacement and to go through this nonsense again. It worked well enough initially as intended, but it is not worth adding more rubbish to the landfill with products that stop working after two months at best.
