Excellent!
Don't go off of some people's reviews regarding the ARC or distance accuracy or even sight. They just haven't figured out how to use it. I compared this side by side to a friend's more expensive one and it is dead on. Flat plain and angle distances as if shooting from a tree stand. You gotta use mode 2 for the angle compensation. It's the golf mode. Took a 20yrd reading horizontal to target then when up onto my deck and it was reading 26 yards but compensated and read underneath that 20yrds. Showing both angles on screen. It also shows the angle/slope degrees that you are currently to the target. As of golf use i have no idea. It does focus for a really clear view also. Just turn the eye piece. Easy to use. One press power button turns on. Holding power button activates range finding. One press mode button changes modes from 1 horizontal distance to target. Or actual distance. Mode two is arc style (golf setting, angle comp etc). Mode 3 is speed or something I've never used. Holding mode button changes reading from Meters To Yards and vise versa. No background screen light. It's light weight. Not sure on battery life or if rechargeable but will find out shortly. Lanyard/tether or whatever you call it is extremely tough to install. Alot of patience. Just push string through as best you can and try and grab the loop on other side with a sewing needle or some sort of needle point pick. Similar to what dentist use. Decent for the price no doubt. I see no real difference from one that cost over 100$. Except my buddy's felt alittle heavier and more solid and his screen was colored and lit to make viewing readings great in low light.

Amazing for the Money, works best at night
I bought this disposable rangefinder for $71 when I realized I had lost my beloved Sig Kilo and had an upcoming hunt later in the week. All in all I've been extremely satisfied, as it easily ranges animals to 400 yds and large reflective surfaces double that consistently. Unlike more expensive range finders its performance vary a lot with light conditions - the darker it is, the better it works. At night I was able to range rock sides out to 1800 yd! I was also happy that my unit really ranged right in the middle of the reticle - sometimes even nice units can be off a little bit, but not this one. Also, like with all laser range finders, regardless of price, the ranges are accurate to within a yard or so. It ranges fast. In golf mode it gives both true range and angle. It also offers that dinky "horizontal distance" if you're too lazy to use a proper ballistic calculator and don't care so much about wind drift. Furthermore It is not waterproof, the yardages are not illuminated, so hard to see during low light conditions. No good way to put a retention loop on it. Optically its poor light transmission and not very clear picture. Again, you paid 71 bones for it, what did you expect?

Cool rangefinder
This is my first range finder I have ever owned. So comparing this one to other versions as some of the other reviewers have done, I don't have that experience. The unit is lightweight and easy to use. Setup is deciding between yards or meters. This one has a slope feature which I have used for bow hunting. The display does not have any way to make it brighter. I have used this on sunny and over cast days and the display is able to be clearly read. If using this for bow hunting, my experience was, when I ranged a distance the reading would come back with what I wasn't ranging. I did have tree limbs and branches obstructing so the laser probably bounced off the wrong spot. For the spots I did range, I was confident I could shoot those distances. Clarity is great. I have only used this for bow hunting and the slope feature appears to work.

Nice range finder for the money.
I got this thinking that for the money I spent I would probably have accuracy of distance + or - 3 yards every 50 yards. So I did not have high expectations for this range finder. Got it just recently. Unpacked it. It’s very light weight so I was thinking it was cheap, and more of a toy then an actual range finder. I took it outside where I know the distances in my neighborhood. First thing I pointed it at was a stop sign 30 yards away, and it was spot on. So I pointed it at another object that I know was 75 yards away and it was spot on. So I said cool, pointed it at another object 100 yards away and it was spot on. Wow this thing is great I thought to myself. So I pointed it at on object that I knew was 200 yards, and it was off by 1 foot. For the price I spent on this, it is amazing. Only bad thing I can say about this range finder is that it lacks a user guide. I had to mess around with it for about 20 minutes and got it figured out. For the price of this range you can’t beat it. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends and anyone that is inquiring about it. It also has a neat little carrying case that comes with it so you can either clip it to your back pack, purse or belt loop on your pants. it also has a belt loop on the back so you can loop it through your belt.

Works great and super easy to use!
I really like this product I bought to replace my older range finder and really like the simplicity of it and accuracy for bow hunting.
