Y YOMAFile Folder with Outside Pocket, 8.5 x 11-Inch, Black & White

These look very nice. The sides expand and maybe open 3 inches at the top to place papers inside. There are one inch wide cardboard strips with double stick tape included to keep the base open. But do mot expect to fill these up with 3 inches of paper, as described. I will have to purchase other folders that are meant to hold wider projects.I have not had them long and cannot say how sturdy they are. Since I will not be opening up the folders very often, I expect them to work out as storage.

I rated them high for Style. They match my decor in my open multiuse great room/office space. This is kinda important because my hanging file is a burnished metal OPEN frame-type wheeled unit. So the files are "on display", if you will. The color scheme in my room is soft muted tones of taupes, warm grays, & creams with accents of Chartreuse & soft Teals. I was thrilled to stumble upon these "cloth-printed" folders.I rated them lower for durability and sturdiness because they are quite thin and fragile. The pleated expandable bottoms are simply pasted on accordion inserts that had to be gently pried open to insert the file folders. The standard letter-sized folders BARELY fit. There is no way to "drop" or pull out folders easily. You must use 2 hands. One to hold the hanging file to steady it, while the other hand gingerly pulls out a file.I will keep them because they match so nicely. I hope they hold up because the pack contains only 6 (which I did not realize) and so I will probably have to purchase another set... *crossing fingers*

I was so excited for these, because I finally found cute colors on expandable folders. The green and blue are kind of hard to tell apart though. They’re sturdy, but they don’t really expand that much or stay expanded, despite a very long effort. And when you do hold it open to put papers in, it doesn’t accommodate the paper very well- they get stuck or have to be forced. I might have had more room with just normal hanging folders.

I have my kids' homeschool work organized by color in these folders. The colors are pretty, I can distinguish them from each other, and their size is perfect.

These are great, however they are missing the name tabs that are advertised in the description and the pictures.

I liked the design and I thought the accordion style would be even more helpful for organization but it was the opposite. You can't separate files within the accordion and the structure is flimsy. Two of them came bent in the corners and 2 weeks later remain that way even hanging in a rack with papers in them.
