Savage Brute: A Dark Mafia Shifter Romance (Alpha Dynasty Book 2)

Mafia romance. Love this author. Each book draws you in not wanting to miss a single word. Alpha bad boys, Romance, violence ,drama, sexy times plus and of course a HEA. I really like how characters from one book are also in another. I wish there had been more on the family but all the main character were great. Can't wait to get to the next brother.

This is book two of the series and it was better than book one in the storyline. Dax, the lead male character, was well written. The depth of his character was interesting to read. He was fractured and struggled with who he is but also with what he has to do to survive. Margot, lead female character, was strong, fierce, and prepared to fight. I liked her so much because she pushed Dax to obtain answers. I liked it when she showed up at his house unexpectedly. She had friends in the know too. Margot was a smart person. I still have questions open about the war and the villains, that remain unanswered. I figure more books in this series is forthcoming. A note, there were a few rough intimate scenes in the beginning, but what happened to the after care? Because closer to the end of the story Dax purchased a plug as a wink wink “gift” for Margot. However, he had already taken her there without any preparation. This same thing happened with the book one couple Coraline and Gabriel. Supposedly these women are their fated mates so I was expecting better treatment. Still a good story, Read On!

Dax was set up and accused of murder and was convicted and spent three years in prison. He stayed in solitary confinement because there was so many hits on his life. Margot owned a bar and was a strong woman who didn’t foolishness from anyone. When Dax was released he was led to her bar because she was fated to be his mate. Because of the curse the Dupree sons had to find there fated mated before the two blue moons. But a war with the voodoo priestess family were trying to destroy the Dupree family. This is my second shifter book by Piper Stone, as always her books don’t disappoint. I will complete the the Alpha Dynasty Series.

This is definitely a different story, cuz our heroes are not only mafia, but shifters too 😃. Amazing storyline, tons of action, very nasty bad things and wonderful characters will keep you turning pages long into the night 🌛. Thanks again Piper, I truly Love all your stories and can't wait to read more of this series 🤓.

Dax and Margot were absolutely something else. I kept swinging back and forth between laughing, fanning myself, and being pinned to the edge of my seat. That ending though, I did not expect it to play out the way it did. I also cannot wait to dive into the other books in the series.

I’m loving this series I’m just confused as to why with this second book the third part of the curse was never brought up as it was in the first one since it’s such a big thing. Can’t wait for the next installment

Good story, the only thing I had a bit of an annoyance with was the girl was taking forever to realize he was her mate. But other than that the story was awesome.

This book had lots to offer, it was captivating and thrilling. It also had betrayal, spankings and a shifter who needed his mate so he wouldn’t go mad.
