My daughter is 6 and wears a size 6. I ordered the size 6/7 and it seemed short and the sleeves came just to her wrists. Personally, I like rain jackets to run slightly larger when I first buy them in an effort that they can be used for 2 years. Otherwise, the material was great. It’s super lightweight which is perfect for spring and summer. It has a very soft liner and the design is so cute. So, I returned the 6/7 and ordered the 8. The 8 looks like it’s a half size to a full size bigger, but the elastic ends to the sleeves make it comfortable for her to wear. It’s not hanging past her wrists and the length is way better. The first one showed the bottom of her t-shirt. This one covers everything. Even with having to return and exchange for the larger size, we’re very happy with the purchase.

Loved the pattern. Granddaughter loves it. True to size. Washes well. Light liner zipper works well. Lightweight spring or fall when you need something wind resistant and warm. Good quality. I would buy again. Great value

Bought this jacket for my daughter (8 years old). She normally wears a size 10/12 for her clothing and this fits her well, enough room for a thicker shirt or sweatshirt underneath. She loves the feel of the material. It is light weight and has a thin lining. Would be good for late spring through mid fall. Haven't had a chance to test it out in the rain yet.

Adorable jacket for my 3rd grader. Does it's job and keeps her dry. It's not super heavy though so the Florida heat doesn't get to her!

I was a little skeptical ordering this but it is nice quality and very cute on my three year old. I’m not entirely positive it’s water proof we haven’t used it much in the rain.
