Love the leather

Needed to replace another saddle leather iPad case that my dog chewed and had been discontinued. This was the best replacement I could find in terms of price/quality. The leather is a a bit darker than what I had, but is still an attractive color and matches the description. It has a bit of waxy finish to it, but that may help its longevity. The seam to open the cover when closed can be hard to locate/operate with your fingertip, but that may just be how mine was cut. Overall, a very nice iPad case for those looking for a more luxurious option without breaking the bank.

Unfortunately I received a defective unit and returned it, yet this product still deserves a five star since it’s the best high quality product I bought on amazon during the last 3 years.As you can see, it came with 2 scratches at the back. I tried to test the durability on the sample leather from the manufacture and it was very dutiable. So I guess it must be some evil customer who returned the product after he/she scrached it. I feel so sorry for the manufacture and I think amazon should really modify its return policy to protect good sellers!Apart from the defects, this case is just too good! So good that I almost choose to kept it with the defects. ( unfortunately there are 2 scraches. I would have kept it if there was only 1.)To begin with,It’s 100 percent high quality real leather that feels even more premium than apple’s official leather case in hand.It is also very very light, it adds less bulk than a silicon case from Apple.(I have the 12.9 inch silicon case) It is also much more protective compare to apple’s silicon case plus Smart Cover.The Smart Cover on this product is so awesome. It sticks firmly and seamlessly, yet at the same time it is very easy to open. Much better than the Smart Cover from Apple.It looks so stunning! Much better than what I expected from the pictures. A must buy if you want a case for iPad Pro and you don’t use smart keyboard.The only down side is that it will not work with a Smart Keyboard, a sacrifice that this kind of case has too make.My conclusions is: as long as you do not use a Smart Keyboard, just go for this and you will be extremely happy with your purchase.

Fits beautifully and is still very manageable..looks classier than me.. I guess that's a good thing

I purchased the case for my iPad Pro 12.9 2nd generation, I previously purchased one for my iPad Air 2 which I let my son use and he decided to keep it so I purchased the iPad Pro. I must say I find this case to be exceptional and durable seeing as my 9 year old son has one for the iPad I let him have and occasionally my 4 year old daughter also uses. My son take the iPad with him just about every where he goes bathroom, dinner, breakfast, lunch, snack time I don’t know how this case has held up so well from all the greasy fingers and sticky icky stuff he gets all over everything. The one I have for my iPad Pro doesn’t get touch by greasy, icky, sticky fingers hands must be clean or you are not to touch my iPad Pro or the case that’s the rules. That’s how much I like this case. The quality is exceptional to me couldn’t find any flaws with this case. The only reason I don’t keep the case on 24/7 is because I got a Apple Smart Keyboard for under $84.00 new, which sells at Apple for $169.00 and it doesn’t fit with the case and the keyboard at the same time. I’m torn between the case and the keyboard as I really like them both. If you do decide to purchase this case I believe you will not be disappointed! It really is a beautiful case and durable, kids tested.

The search for a good leather IPad cover continues. While I thought initially this ICarer case was it...after 4 months it's become clear that this case is a disappointment and I really wish I could return it. I'll give Pro-Cons and then overall assessmentPros - Looked really good when I first bought it. Thin profile. The magnetic cover works well. Initially looks expensiveCons - While the leather snap cover is nice...the IPad does not sit well on a bad...its constantly falling over and unstable. I don't know if this is a flaw in all smart cover Ipads because this is the first one I've tried. The color is a lot more reddish than appears in the photo, the leather scratches very easily and does not wear well. Also, once scratched...cannot be polished away like other leather products (??? - don't know why).To give a background - I am not someone new to leather. I have multiple leather watches - 1 French made, Wilson leather laptop satchel, Wilson leather backpack, many types leather dress and casual shoes and I know that leather does scratch and wear a certain way. With my other leather products when there are scratches/etc I can put leather polish and buff them out more or less however the material here or stain that was put on this case does not respond well to the other leather products I use. I have not been able to buff out any of those stains.Overall, this case is a severe disappointment and I wish I could return it. After only 4 months its looking kind of bad...searching for an alternative. For the $40+ price tag I wish I could have gotten something that would stay looking good and last. Bummer
