Works well but not as strong as a thera cane
Trigger point self massage tools like these are very useful. Many years back I had bought a Theracane which I still have and works really well. This has an S shape and is made of plastic that is not as strong and the feel on the skin is not as great. However, that said, it still works well and the design means you can get to different parts of your body to apply self massage. It can be very useful to take away on travels and can be great even when you are working from home and use this for self massage whilst at the desk to support the body more. The key advantage is that it is very lightweight. Overall it is a useful tool that works well.

Good trigger point release device
This comes in 2 halves which slot together and are held securely in place by a screw which is indiscernible from the rest of the item. The curves allow access to different trigger points. Does come with a small print of suggested pressure points but would benefit from a larger and more detailed instruction booklet or even a short video. Overall recommended and easy to take with you on your travels

Back massager
A really useful tool for gym goers. Makes resolving muscle tension easy: you won't need someone to help you anymore, this tool will allow you to reach every muscle where there might be tension due to gym sessions (or other exercises) all alone.Great tool, it's easy to use once you've figured out how to, but it comes with a small instruction book which you can follow along the first attempts

Right to the spot, straight to the point
This massage stick is in S shape with one end has a bigger curve than the other. There are multiple studs on the stick which you may use to press on your tight spots/knots in your muscles. I have a knot on top of my shoulder near the neck, it was very difficult to massage that area without the help of my husband. With this stick, I can now do it myself easily and effectively. The stick comes in two parts and splice by a joint and tighten via a stud with screw. It can be packed away quite quickly if you want to disassemble it. It also comes with a black drawstring pouch. If you have not used this before you may be sceptical and probably don't know how good this is, because I was too, and I am glad I have tried and highly recommend to people have tight spots/knots on the shoulder or on the back, this will help to untie them.

This works extremely well. Well made too.
I saw these on a video recently, I went to look at them after my friend said she liked hers, so when I had the chance to give this one a try I was more than happy to do so. This one is even better than the one my friend bought.I have spinal stenosis as well as a connective tissue disorder, I get a lot of back pain. My partner really wanted to give it a go too as he has myofascial pain syndrome and is always asking me to manipulate pain points to free up his muscle spasms. It arrives in a nice bag, just join the two sections and screw in the round knob to secure it. It’s a shame it doesn’t fit in the bag once joined together. It is so simple to use yet so very effective, I find it so relaxing to use and it helps me a fair bit, it really relaxes my neck, it gets stiff from bad posture. My partner really notices a difference, I would say he has more success than I do as it is more suited to his condition. He is able to massage out the knotted muscles on trigger points buy himself….he has been saying for years that if I ever left him he would seize up lol, na I’ll stay, lol.

Strange bit of kit!
So this massager is indeed a very strange bit of kit but it works better than I expected which is a bonus. It’s initially a bit tricky to get to grips with and I found it a bit difficult to get the right spots. It seems to do an ok job but I’m not entirely convinced it’s worth it’s price. The quality of it is ok, it’s strong, sturdy and durable but I feel it’s lacking in terms of its user friendliness and it’s not the most comfortable to hold which isn’t great for my fibromyalgia. It is lightweight and portable so that’s another positive for it I guess but it’s just not for me unfortunately so I won’t be recommending it.
