I am a dog walker who picks up dogs in my car, drives them to a hiking location then drives them back home. I was having issues where dogs were backtied to my headrests and the dogs were jumping into the backseat from the cargo/trunk of my Kia Soul while I was driving or running into a house to grab another dog. This was concerning me as it can be dangerous if a dog is jumping around while I’m driving or getting in other dog’s faces. I decided to try out this product and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a tiny bit difficult to assemble in the car, but I managed to get it on my own pretty quickly once I figured out exactly how to maneuver everything the right way. I have had it up for probably close to 7-8 months now and it hasn’t needed to be adjusted once. It’s holding up great even with the more rambunctious dogs I drive around plus our crazy 7 month old Australian cattle dog puppy. Overall, this is a great product for the price. I’m sure you could find higher quality, but this honestly does the same job at a great price.

This works great. It fits well and it is secure. Best part is it doesn’t rattle. Thanks to the reviewer who has a Toyota Highlander too. I assembled the barrier exactly as he did and it fit perfectly. I like the straps that hold it in place - very secure. It does come with the bungee cords too, but seems like I don’t need those. I had bought a similar one of these barriers with only the bungee cords. Sent it back. It didn’t look right and didn’t seem secure. I did install this myself and it wasn’t impossible, but a few swear words came out. As others have stated two people would make installation quite simple. I am happy with this purchase.

Easy to set up. It's cheap but decent!

I’m pretty wowed by this product. For just over $30, which was cheaper than every other item like it, it’s extremely solid. No rattles, no damage to my car (2010 Mercury Mariner), and a great fit. The panels provide plenty of versatility for installation, so I’d say you can confidently buy this thing knowing it will work. I have a small SUV, but I can see it working for wagons, hatchbacks, etc. Not sure how it would work for a full-size SUV. For me, dogs stay in the trunk and off my lap. Highly recommend.

Fits in my Honda Mini van. Very easy to assemble and install.
