Faulty item no power whatever I tried!
Didn’t work with my Road Angel View, must’ve been faulty and no matter what fuse I tried I got nothing. Reading from other reviews I’m sticking with the regular socket

Very intermittent performance
I bought this in March 2023 for Halo View, and was initially really pleased with it, however the end that goes in to the dashcam appears to have loose wiring/fitting that causes the cam to turn off and on whilst driving. I was looking to get a replacement but can only get a refund and buy again, not too much of an issue but just added hassle and if the next one does the same etc etc.... just frustrating 😑.... I WOULDN'T buy it again - I'd recommend, but be prepared you may need to do additional work. I'm going to try and fix the one that I have - I still want one and had loads of problems with cheaper non genuine ones initially. Shouldn't have to do a fix on a genuine road angel item though.. 🤷♂️Update: July 2023 - Item returned, can't get it to work and fed up of it intermittently turning on and off whilst driving.... can't decide - doO chance getting another to try.... 🤔Further update: Nov 23 - I bought an OBD connector to dashcam, records 24x7 and not had any problems with it and

Great product conflicting description
Great product, does contain the micro USB for the Road halo view. The information on the photos and description didn't leave me hesitant to buy at first as they mentioned different connection types.

Not impressed
Initially seemed to work ok but not great, was showing interference lines in the mirror, on our 1st trip it constantly kept turning off or not detecting rear camera. The connection to the power socket on the mirror seemed loose. Now using the supplied 12v cigarette power source with no issues. I wouldn’t recommend this at all!

Universal Does NOT Mean Universal!
I bought the hard wiring kit to install my Halo View in the car and enable all the features. My car is a Vauxhall Insignia - not an unusual make/model. The fuse adaptors do not fit my fuse box as it uses micro fuses. The smallest adaptor supplied is for mini fuses. When I rang Road angel they denied that universal means fits all and I should go and buy the adaptors - really excellent customer service - Not!
