Vater Percussion Color Wrap 5A Drumsticks, Gold Sparkle, Wood Tip

Purchased for a kid...his first pair. I really loved them and so did he. Very pretty. Strong, solid sticks

The shiny paint on the sticks is uneven, there are a lot of black streaks that are ugly, and it feels sticky to the touch, if you want a shiny painted drum stick and don't care about the feel or the quality of the paint, you might like

These are beautiful, sparkly, hologram sticks in silver. One of the sticks had some of the silver paint/covering scratched off, revealing the black stick underneath, or maybe it just wasn't made perfectly. So I was a bit disappointed by that, but I have bought Vater color wrap sticks (in different colors) for my daughter before and they were perfect. So I don't know why these are slightly scratched, but it's okay. Eventually some of the paint wears off due to normal usage anyway, so I think she'll still be happy with them. Would buy again... Waiting for different colors to come out!!

These drumsticks are really fun and work well. The recipient of these was really excited to use them in his school band since it is his school colors. Upon receiving these the gold, sparkly wrapping was splitting on the drumsticks, which was kind of disappointing to me. I'm hoping the gold part won't rub off of the sticks too quickly.

I love the color but not the foil on the sticks-it comes off on your hands.

These replaced my Rock Band drumsticks that succumbed to an overenthusiastic rendition of 'White Wedding'. I was concerned about their compatibility, as they do not have the Rock Band logo on them, but they work fine. On a plus note, they are painted with some reflective, multi-color paint, that sparkles nicely. Quite fabulous.

Vater has geared these sticks towards drummers who want to stand out and be seen and remembered for both their performance and their look. The hologram pattern on the sticks let the light bounce of the sticks which creates lots of sparkles.They have a solid weight which is what you expect from a 5A drumstick and despite the shiny surface, they are surprisingly easy to keep a tight grip on whilst playing. No slipping sticks!This is definitely not a cheap novelty drumstick. The look of these are quite unique but the weight of the stick gives it a professional feel. This makes it suitable for any drummer who wants an even weighted drumstick to play pop, rock or R’n’B and could be a cool gift for a drummer of any level.STRONG, FAST AND BRIGHT!These stick are strong and can take a good beating but light enough that you can still move at a fast pace around the kit. I’ve used it on an acoustic drum kit and also on an electric drum kit too. The sticks have been used to play mainly to Rock and Pop music and they deliver a bright sound when used on the hi-hats and the cymbals.EASY TO USE AND NO NEED TO ADJUSTThese sticks are easy to get to grips with straight out of the bag. I thought they may be some grip issues to start with simply because of the vinyl wrap but there was no issue the way they felt. I didn’t need to spend any time adjusting to the sticks as they felt and performed as you would expect from any other 5A stick.YOU CAN HIT HARD WITH THESE STICKSThey are very eye-catching. These sticks are very durable and you can hit hard with them. The tips of the sticks provide a nice bright sound when you hit the hi-hats and cymbals.THE HOLOGRAM WRAP WEARS AWAY AT THE BASE!The hologram pattern noticeably wears away at the base of the stick within a few plays. It shows a black base coat which is revealed once the hologram pattern has been worn away. This is usually covered by your hands when in use and is only really noticeable when the full stick is on display.WORTH THE PRICE!I think it’s great value for money. Everything it says on the packet, had these now for about 4 months and showing obvious signs of where, nice to play with and very showey but the colour wrap doesn't take too kindly to gigging and heavy use. More for your photo shoots and showing off but for the price you cannot complain....

I bought these drumsticks for my boyfriend who is a drummer for his birthday and so far, everyone has been asking where I got them from! I'm very impressed with the quality and found they were definitly worth buying!
