I have some very large planters on my deck and they “were” very heavy to move. The annual vines did not need keep root space, so this has been a fabulous solution to lightening my planters and also to not having to purchase as much soil. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I thought this would be a great idea to save on soil in my potted plants. My plants didn't do so well this year. I think it had something to do with the way these cause the water to drain though past the roots. None of my plants sent roots through the openings so not enough water could be absorbed.

We tried one size of these inserts and came back for more. Not only do they save soil, but (obviously) they lighten the overall weight, which is important if you are going to move or rotate your planters. Although they are not inexpensive, they are the best equipment for the job.

I had two very tall, deep planters. Didn’t want to waste that much potting soil to fill them. I was trying to figure out a way to make one of these because I didn’t know they existed! I happened to see one of these at Lowe’s, but they didn’t have the size I needed. Ordered these and the work like a charm! Very happy with them!!

Great product. Make sure you get the correct size for your container. After placing in container, I only needed half the amount of soil. The heavy ceramic containers are a lot lighter now. I paired with short stand for easy water drainage and to avoid stains on patio. Love this product

Excellent item. This seller had a phenomenal price. I use these things in all my large pots. Saves on soil and prevents root rot. Good quality too so it can be used over and over for many years.

This is a great idea for using in tall pots where you don't want them to weight a ton from being filled with dirt. The Ups A Daisy worked perfect for my cactus garden. Actually bought a couple of these.

I ordered one that was too big (15"), one that was too small (12"), but this one was just right (13"). My bad, but make sure YOU measure good to get the right size the first time. This is an outstanding product to change the depth of pots for plants that do not have deep roots.
