It’s not too overwhelming like some of the ones with so much to color. I love the quotes. A++

I absolutely adore this series of coloring books! The artwork is amazing but the paper could be of better quality. That being said, I’ve tried markers (in the other book) and I’ve been using colored pencils in this book. I have to say IMO for the paper in these books, colored pencils is the far superior choice. However I personally would pay more $ for better quality paper in the Dark Beauty coloring books. I also would love to see DB coloring book with Scottish/Celtic Mytthical creatures, mythical creatures in general like Medusa, Harpy’s, centaur etc but dark and beautiful of course!

i have a lot of these books now- both beauties, the tattoo ones and christmas- all of them have really amazing pics for all levels. back of pages are black to keep it cute, i use ink and i have to put a extra piece of paper between pages. the paper is thin and it shows thru when ink is wet but dries solid. hopefully they get better paper in the future but over all the entire series of books are def worth it if you enjoy coloring beautiful disasters.

Just stunningly beautiful pages

The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, and a joy to color if you're using colored pencils. The paper is somewhat thin though, so markers and paints are pretty much out of the question unless you have a barrier sheet between one page and the next.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the second one I got from the Dark Beauty books. There's only 2 of them that are similar; there are other horror books from the same author but I love to watch horror - not color it. But these here are horror series too but more like pretty demon girls and elementals and I guess mythical and forest creatures that are all pretty awesome to color. I love it. The quality of the paper is good, the art is beautiful and I like little quotes too. I highly recommend 👌

I love all the pictures in this book and it has a tester page for colors too.

Perfect for practicing shading fabric and skin and hair without having to draw a complete picture in order to feel motivated enough to do so. I love how proud I feel when I’ve finished one of these beautiful pieces- they look 10 times more stunning with color and you can really tell that they are as anatomically correct as they possibly can be. The folds in the fabric actually make sense, this is not one of those crappy adult coloring books from Barnes and noble. Paper is very fine tooth and works wondefully with prismacolor pencils- watercolor and guache, not so much.

Great pictures, so excited to start colouring! Paper could be thicker but it’s not bad. Love the fact that there’s only one picture on each page and that the back of the page is black! Makes it neat and the short sentences are a good idea. Finally a colouring book that actually gets me excited and eager to start

I received a damaged copy. I will come back and change my review if it gets replaced. The images are nicely done and single sided. Some images are printed on white and some are printed on black paper. The paper on this book reminds me of children's newsprint coloring books. I don't know if I got a bad copy or if they are all like this. I did notice some of this author's books have this similar quality paper. Such a shame because the images are really beautiful.
