These are cheap frames, to be sure. That said, they're attractive, seem reasonably sturdy, the corners fit fairly well, the system to load photos is mostly easy to use and lens is glass rather than acrylic.The problem with them, as is the case in all inexpensive frames I've purchased over the years, is that the photo is in contact with the glass. There are no spacers between the glass and the photo. Eventually, the photo will stick to the glass and the image will be ruined if removed.But, spacers are a feature of custom frames which cost multiples of these frames. It basically comes down to getting what you pay for.On the other hand, a functional spacer would cost next to nothing. All it needs to be is a very narrow piece of cardboard edging the rings the frame but doesn't show through the glass.If the provided matting is used for a 4x6 photo, the matting serves as a spacer and the image doesn't contact the glass. In fact, the spacer needed for an 8x10 is a very, very narrow mat that doesn't show through the glass. That's not quite the way a professional framer would do it, but it would serve the purpose.

These have a nice look and it was easy to put the pictures in the frames.

Was happy to finally get this in. It is exactly what I was looking for. A thin, black frame. However, lots of sharp areas and pieces when putting my picture in the frame. I could not re-clip the clips in back.

My frame was well constructed. All the corners matched up well and were tight. I like the ease of installing pictures in the frame - simple and easy. All the corners are sharp, which is necessary to make them match up tight, as is the glass - but that's what you get with glass and metal frames (use gloves if needed). I needed to mount a 16x20 picture, so had to remove the very nice mat. There were no spring clips included, which left the glass and picture loose - if not for that, I would have given a higher overall score.

First of all the frames are beautiful. Really lovely, and the mounting system I found easy to understand and easy to use.BUT: These frames have sharp edges everywhere that cut: both the aluminium and the glass. The glass is a very thin, and breaks into very sharp shards.I would appreciate a version of this frame with a plastic cover, or a different kind of glass. I would not recommend this frame for households with children, as it will be very unforgiving in case of an accident.

I bought 4 of the 8x8" Framatic Fineline frames and love how easy it was to insert the prints. The glass was already very clean and the mats were nicely cut too. I brushed off any loose particles of dust before closing them back up. Unlike many other frames I've used before, the glass was not sharp edged and the whole process went very smoothly.I will buy these again in the future.

Clever design on the slide-out frame so it is very easy to mount your picture and re-assemble. Nice backing (black). The "shadow box" effect on the double matting adds good depth and interest. It has a saw-tooth hanger. It arrived very well packaged, so there wasn't any damage to the frame or glass. Glad I ordered this frame. I got the 11x11 frame which has a mat opening of approximately 7.5x7.5 inches.

Creo que es un gran producto, pero es una lástima que en el embalaje no pusieran ni siquiera una bolsa de burbuja para proteger el producto. El resultado: todo el vidrio estaba destrozado.
