Great products x4, 5th was broken. It was the shooter too, so I can’t use the kit without it as a matched set. Amazon could have returned it if I sent them all back. There was not any more to replace it though.

So lets start by saying i understand that glass marbles have a chance of breaking in transit, and im not absolutely broken hearted over it. But i am a bit bummed that the shooter of one of the better sets is broken into 4 with some parts of the surface a fine powder in the bag. When i went to get a replacement amazon states they want the package, meaning they want the entire box of 5 nets. Im not rejecting the lot just to replace one, without any promise i'll get all the same colors, even if it's for the better style out of the bunch. Which leads to the next problem.Originally i thought that "random assorted nets" meant the swirl pattern on the marbles as some kind of disclaimer like "you are not going to get exactly what we have previewed" but no, it means "you are going to get 5 random nets of colored marbles from our entire product line, only 5 of which we're going to show you." So if you really wanted one or more of the pictured colors, you're not guaranteed it. Out of the five pictured i only got one of the displayed color combos, the dragonfly, which happens to be the net with the broken shooter.I can only think of a handful of situations where the "you are getting 5 random assortments of marbles" is a pro and not a con. Either you are buying them as party favors, prizes for a class, just so you can play marbles, or just to start your collection. If you fit into one of these categories it's a decent sell, and only one shooter out of the 125 total marbles was broken, so i wouldn't say it's exactly likely yours will show up broken.However, if you a discerning collector, have a child that wants a specific color pattern, or are shopping for somebody who cares what their marbles look like specifically, i would steer clear of this buy.

Ordered this for the bald eagle marbles shown & description says assorted so you don't know what marbles you are getting but should at least get the main one advertised.
