Great 70's stories by Steve Gerber, Bob Brown, et al
This set of 70's era Daredevil/Black Widow stories holds up very well. Writing by Steve Gerber, Tony Isabella, and Marv Wolfman, and artwork mainly by Bob Brown (supplemented by the great Gene Colan) are consistently good throughout. Darkly atmospheric stories are split between New York and San Francisco. Bob Brown isn't as well known in the Marvel pantheon of artists, but I think he did his best work with these issues of Daredevil, giving dimension to DD's blindness/enhanced abilities. Inkers Vince Colletta and Klaus Janson are suitable matches for Brown as well. Very satisfying read!

Decent collection
This title is like the one called A Woman Called Widow, promoting a character that doesn't show up till near the end. But I was interested in seeing how this led up to Bullseye finally making his appearance. It was out of nowhere, but the rest of the collection is kind of crazy. I have been trying to get the Daredevil comics in order so I've been bouncing in and out of order, so to finally finally see the start of Matt's relationship with Heather was wild considering how she ends up. The same could be said for Matt going back to NYC and leaving Black Widow. I knew it would be dramatic, but somehow it was even more dramatic. One of the better runs before the 80s that I've read.

Daredevil and Black Widow in classic adventures from the 70's
This epic volume 6 collects Daredevil #108 - 132 and Marvel Two-In-One #3 from 1974 to 1976. Twenty of the twenty-six issues are drawn by Bob Brown with Klaus Janson and Vince Colletta inking most of them. Gene Colan only pencils four of the issues in this collection. Steve Gerber writes most of the issues (11). Tony Isabella (5) and Marv Wolfman (9) write other issues.Issues 131 and 132 features the first appearance of Bullseye, the highlight of this collection. I was hoping Gene Colan illustrated more of these issues like he did in earlier issues of DD but this volume mainly showcases the art of Bob Brown, a comic artist who got his start in the 1940's and passed away not long after this run in 1977.Black Widow co-stars with Daredevil thru issue 124 where they lived together in San Francisco. A good collection of stories with old villains and some new ones. An affordable collection for Daredevil fans.

Great quality reprinted stories
Another great volume in the epic series. Like all the epic stories books of daredevil the print quality is high and this makes for a good read unlike the much poorer quality essentials series. Don’t expect anything revolutionary these are reprints of the comics so no new stories there. I can’t wait to complete the series which will mean that I would have copies from every comic since number one up until the Marvel knights series (which I have already) but the frustration being that there are several volumes to go and it has taken several years to get to this point. I hope I live to get them all
