I ordered the tall and upgraded version and really love the look, sturdiness, and quality of leather. The drilled holes were a bit off and the armrests are a giant pain to install, but once finished, this is a really nice and attractive chair that sits comfortably, albeit maybe not as comfortable as a standard recliner. I mostly bought this for the aesthetic, but also really enjoy sitting in it. Would describe this as heirloom quality if maintained, and definitely a better deal than the original, which run around 5K.

The chair looks incredible for the price, it is stiff but comfortable and it seems sturdy. My problem however, stems from the fact that since my order came in two boxes, I was left wondering “what happened to the rest of the chair?” Until the 2nd box showed up 3 days later. The chair was shipped well packaged, and Instruction was clear but some of the parts needed extra fanangling to fit, an extra pair of hands might be required. All in all, a pretty decent buy.

Assembly went fine, I suggest the Youtube video as well as the paper instructions that came with the chair. Leave all the fasteners loose on the arm brackets until all four are started in the holes, then tighten. Two people will make the assembly of the back and the arm cushions go much faster. Chair is as advertised.Packing is good, no issues with the chair due to shipping or packaging. (lucky, I know) Enjoy!

If the original "mid-century" Eames Chair appeals to you, but you cannot afford the price of a chair made exactly to the original specifications, then this chair is worth considering. Your comfort will depend on your anatomy. In general, the fixed vertical position of this chair is substantially tilted back. Together with the included ottoman, this would probably be considered as a "restful" position. I do not know about the sturdiness or durability of this product as I have not had it long enough to know, However, there is a single pivot point into which a five "spoke" leg fits. It seems to be some sort of "friction" mount (no ball bearings). The Seller will make good on missing assembly parts if needed.

It was a good purchase. The chair is comfortable and looks good in the intended spot I bought for. Takes about 2 days for it to 'offgas'. I would suggest to avoid sitting on it for that time and let it air out. After that, this piece will bring a smile on your face.

You won't find a better replica for this price. It really does look stunning. Easy to assemble--I did it myself. But, I'm not sure how sturdy it is. The ottoman when lifted feels like it's going to fall out. Same for the chair. Might just be my worry. I've only had it a short time so I can't attest to how it will hold up long term but it is a lovely looking chair and very comfortable to read in.

Everyone loves it when they see it. Leather is strong and feels like high end leather. Doesn’t lean back or anything but just right for my frame. I’m 5’7, 200 lbs.

This style of chair was on my son’s wish list for Christmas. I saw basically the same thing in the local furniture store for twice the price as this one. It’s comfortable and lends a classy look. Leather seems to be of good quality.
