Starting up
Batteries don't charge. Controller kept saying not connected to drone. I tried many times. The reviews were right. The drone box wasn't sealed

Batteries arrived dead.
When I got the drone I was excited to get to using it. When I went to charge the battery, nothing indicated it was charging. Tried putting it in the drone to power up, nothing happened. Support was very helpful and they got me another battery which also appears to be completely dead and had the exact same problem as the first. Probably going to try to troubleshoot the charger and if that doesn't work I'm going to have to return it because as much as id love to just tinker until it works, I paid 500 for a drone that's supposed to be more or less plug and play.Exo might have a substantial quality control issue they need to get fixed.Will update as appropriate.

Easy
Awesome! Flying, stability, camera!

Did not work brand new out the box
Zero flight time, did the setup (not easy) after 45 minutes ready to fly so I thought. Did the one button take off, drone started hovered then took off to the left, did emergency stop drone dropped (That Worked). re calibrated and the same thing happened after the fourth time boxed it up and requested refund.

Crash & burn
The drone worked well picture quality was good. But it crashed when battery was low instead of returning to the ground.🙄

Pixelated video
The EXO Mini sets up easily and flies very nice, even in gusty winds, but the video was not impressive at all. The colors were nice, but every redirection of flight caused extreme pixelation.

The bad outweighs the good
I have taken the drone from Central America to Alaska and I am impressed with the video quality and ease of flight.Sadly, the electronics constantly need calibrated, the IMU, the compass, the gimbal etc. by the time everything gets calibrated, you’ve lost 20% of your battery and have little flight time before needing to recharge(which takes hours). Plug in battery #2 aaaand recalibrating AGAIN! I’ve had this drone for about 18 months and would not buy it again. I had high hopes and spent almost $1000 including the insurance. Not pleased.

WARNING: came broken brand new 2024 model
Brand new out of box and not able to fly it. Can’t get past firmware update sits at 99% then battery dies. remote wont charge. I’ve tried multiple cords. Haven’t had a chance to even fly it. Customer support is nonexistent. Tried contacting through their online form, their chat is not active on any browser, no phone numberer, tried email and no response. I bought direct from them. Im here as a warning to others. Do not waste your time!
