This provided an affordable solution for those who do not have a budget for "professional" battery power to use for shoots where AC power is either not available or not desired.Since this application is not the main intended use for this product, it does not provide a battery power gauge on the unit, so that omission may require a separate solution for powering video equipment.Also, note that this item requires a proper specific charger to preserve battery life cycles, as indicated on the packaging and the instructions, notwithstanding what other reviewers have posted. At this review, there are only two such chargers available on Amazon. Although other chargers are said to work, it is not recommended by the manufacturer, which notice is sadly missing from the listing description. This review corrects that omission.There are several other choices tactical bags of the same size available, but the item i mentioned does work, but requires a certain amount of tugging and force to get the zippers to close fully. These are used simply for protection of the battery terminals and serve also as some slight protection for cable strain relief.I did not find a pre-made cable on Amazon that had the female spade connectors on one end and the 5.5 mm barrel connectors on the other end, so I had to make that cable from scratch from parts I found on Amazon.The male spade connectors on the battery are style F2 in case you need a cable or adapter.

Worked great as a replacement batters for my liftmaster gate. Clamps for wires are bigger than the original batteres. So i had to change the clamps. Would be nice if the sent the clamps cross over with it. Also charge them before installing them. Battery level was not fully charged when received.

I scored a Best Choice kid's ride on Jeep clone toy, but the lead acid battery was shot, as was the nearly identical battery in my solar generator that I made a few years ago. I now had an excuse to try LiFeP04 12(ish) volt. While some people have seemed to have had success as a direct swap in for things like UPS's and such, I went ahead and also purchased a LiFePO4-rated charger to charge it at 5 amps. Power delivery is consistent though the discharge and the runtime seems to be better as well. At 5 amps, it charges quickly. The BMS will cut off if I sit in and try to drive the toy, but I far exceed the weight limit. Lead acid batteries have no problem with this. I may order another of these to try and run in parallel solve this, or at least double the runtime as the kid drives. Also, as others have mentioned, is the weight. It's amazing how light it is compared to the lead acid of the same size. Finally, it's water resistant rated and has a 2-year warranty. Seems like a good value to me so far.

I use this to replace a 6+ year old SLA battery in a old APS UPS. It's lighter weight than the original, however it is wider in physical dimensions so I had to cut part of the side and bottom off my UPS case which I would not recommend you do for safety reasons. The UPS did not complain at all and is able to charge it in use it for backup power, however the rated max discharge rate for the LiFePO4 battery at 89W is only a quarter of the original lead acid battery's 330W. That's fine for my use-case because what's connected to it is low amperage network equipment, so I don't mind, but if you need a higher discharge rate you may want to stick to SLA. Otherwise no problems and if their lifespan claim is correct then I expect this to last longer than the original battery.

What a rip! so my Internet box was beeping that I needed to replace the battery again but I thought I just did it so I ignored it. A week later it was still beeping so I checked the wires and they were secured. Sure enough the battery is dead after almost only two months of use. And we did not cheap out, we bought the more expensive Lithium battery instead of the regular SLA battery. We cannot recommend this product.

Using this battery to charge a depth finder on my kayak. I recharge it nearly every week of the year. I fish all year around. This battery continues to charge and function after more than a year. Great purchase.
