Tombow Pencil ZOOM505 META BW-LZB12 Water-Based Ballpoint Pen, Polished Black

This is my newest Tombow Zoom 505 rollerball pen. I was a little apprehensive about the size and weight compared with previous models. It is slightly thinner and lighter than the previous one. I've been trying it for the past few weeks and now find myself reaching for it first. While I haven't had to write extensively or for an extended period of time, I don't foresee any fatigue in its use. For stylists, this version does not have the silver nib and silver trim on black body and the contrasting Tombow and logo on the bottom front and back of the cap. Instead, its all black, with the body matte black. Minimalist style for a great pen!

The pen body is very nice and feels better in the hand than the normal 505 model. It is very nice. But the .5mm tip on this cartridge is absurdly wide. The line weight is really .7mm or even 1mm when used on normal copy paper. And there seems to be no alternate refills that are true .5mm. But the pen is unusable for me.

Just love this pen from Tombow, value for every penny, superb finish and quality. I request them to provide 0.3mm refills with the pen.

◆気に入らなかった点キャップを反対につけて利用してる時、ポロポロとキャップが外れるのが若干ストレス◆感想ボールペンについて詳しくはないが、水性ボールペンなのかインクペンのような感じです。

水性ボールペンなので紙によっては結構にじみます。存在感があるボールペンなので持つ喜びを感じさせてくれますが、仕事や勉強などの日常使いには向いていません。
