UPDATE:After seeing my review, the seller reached out to me to offer either a partial refund, of $20, or a replacement backpack. We opted for the backpack, as I still haven't replaced the original. I'll update again in the future if the second bag has any issues. Hopefully it was a one-time defect as can happen in manufacturing of all kinds.Great customer service, and the seller was very easy to work with!Purchased this for my daughter who has a school-issued laptop she's required to bring to school and back home daily. She said the padded straps were comfortable despite the weight of her books and computer. The number of pockets was also really nice.However...It was great for ONLY two months, until one of the plastic strap buckles snapped off when she picked it up to put on her shoulders at the end of the school day. I'm pretty disappointed that we're out almost $30 and need to replace it already!

The biggest compartment is a real tight fit. I wish there was a way to adjust it. It’s hard to squeeze in my 1 inch binder and textbook. I have to completely unzip which is annoying. I’m surprised no one else has mentioned this, maybe that’s solely the compartment people use for laptops? Just find it odd. Otherwise, I really like it.

Is a decent bag but not that durable the straps stitching is falling apart and has a tear near one of the pokets

I was a little hesitant that this backpack would qualify as my "personal item" for your well known budget airline because of its size. It fit everything I needed for a 4 day vacation including a change of shoes, makeup, laptop, and personal accessories. The material is nice and cleanable. The bag also feels durable. I have continued to use this bag for the gym, class, work, and travel with no issues.

Initially my son like the product but within 6 weeks of school starting, the clasp on the strap broke and is not repairable

On the plus side, it "looks" attractive.It won't actually fit my 17" laptop, so it's useless for me. Even if it did, the padding for protecting the laptop does not cover the corners -- which are the part that need the most protection. Finally, the padding is "crunchy" and noisey, like it's just a pocket full of balled-up mylar.I'm returning it, and have not used it -- so it may be the most comfortable thing ever. I can't say.

This backpack was especially helpful for international travel, in which I didn't want to have to use checked baggage. This backpack has a ton of space, and can fit pretty much everything you could need in it. Multiple outfits, a Ziploc full of travel size toiletries, snacks, extra shoes, and more. The USB Charging Port is a great feature, but didn't use it yet.

I am really impressed with this bookbag, as it has features of packs costing three times as much. It is a true 30L sized pack. For reference, the filled-out pack in my pictures has a fluffy standard sized pillow stuffed inside, so that should give you an idea of the room available. I will make this review simple by listing the pros and cons.Pros:- Has a laptop sleeve which is against the back-panel, which in my opinion is the best place to put it, as it keeps the weight close to your back, protects the laptop better, and has the most padding by your back. It does indeed hold a 17-inch laptop.- Has a secret outer pocket on the outside of the pack under the lumbar pad, which is a great place to put items such as plane tickets, boarding passes, travel wallet, and passport. You can swing it around and access the pocket without removing the pack from your back, but no one else can access it when you are wearing the pack.- Has a sewn-in strap so that it can be slid over the handle of rolling luggage.- Has a thickly padded durable grab handle on top of the pack.- Has a generous deep accessory pocket on the outside of the pack.- Generous side pockets are large enough to hold a quart sized water bottle.- Has reflective piping on the back of the pack.- Lots of nice organizational compartments and key clip.- Very well-padded back-panel.- Has charging cord and port for affixing a battery bank.- Nice lighter color lining on the inside so that it is easier to find contents.- Made of durable water-resistant nylon materials and the stitching appears robust and durable.- Large zipper pulls that are easy to grab.Cons (these cons are minor, but combined they are enough of an issue to deduct one star):- There is no waist strap, so if you need to run through an airport or across campus, the pack will bounce against your back.- Although the straps are padded, I would have liked to see them have thicker padding, such as the thickness of the carry-handle for when you are carrying a lot of weight.- The back-panel does not really have the advertised breathability. Yes, there is a touch of airflow and breathability, but you will sweat a lot on hot days.- Although there are touches of reflective piping, there is no place to attach a blinky light.- The well-padded laptop sleeve is missing some padding in one critical area, on the bottom. So, if you are holding the grab-handle or pack strap, and you then you set the bottom of the pack down hard, the bottom of your laptop will have no padding against the floor.All in all, a really nice pack at this price-point that is great for on the travelling, on campus, or for commuting, but with a few limitations you should be aware of if you decide to purchase this pack.
