Liked the holder and purchased it for the silicone mat; but the mat doesn’t lay flat in the holder.

It’s my fault for not reading the reviews, but really, how could you mess this up? Looks pretty straight forward. You can put a hot curling, or in my case a flat iron, in a silicone pouch that double as a mat to put the iron on when hot. Slide it in the fabric pouch that also conveniently has a place to put the cord. Simple, right?The top half of silicone mat/pouch is BIGGER than the fabric holder! AND the bottom half of the silicone BARELY fits. You have to wrestle this thing to get it in because the silicone won’t slide easily.It’s going back, obviously.Seriously - how do you mess this up this badly, and still sell these things, knowing it’s a faulty product???Boggles the mind. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is a very nice curling/flat iron cover. Great quality neoprene material & I love the print !! Only downfall for me is the smell of it out of the packaging...it's a strong odor, almost gasoline smelling. Will def need to air out before putting in luggage !! Worth the price though !!

The cute pink styling holder was a disappointment. It had such an awful smell I had to just throw it away. The other neoprene Hot iron sleeve seems to be fine. And will work to hold hot styling tools.

I'm sure it's great for traveling, but the smell is god awful. It reminds me of gasoline. As soon as I opened the package the smell instantly hit me & I said, "hell no, return". Can't speak on if it's heat resistance since I didn't use it.
